@xdannyxbrownx Announces Bruiser Brigade Thanksgiving Concert
Although Danny Brown has kept a relatively low profile since the release of 2013's Old (save for a handful of guest features and variousfestival appearances), that does not mean that the former Hybrid has not been working. In fact, the Motor City spitter is giving back to his community in a big way: he will present his second annual Bruiser Brigade Thanksgiving in his hometown on November 25th, which will be for a great cause. With partners InsideOut Detroit's City Wide Poets Project (CWP), Danny has launched a crowd-funding page to help both the Detroit Public School System and CWP's Literacy Arts Project, and he will also be leading a city-wide poetry workshop for teens and young adults in conjunction with the show. It's a great cause, and contributors do not have to be in Detroit to assist in his philanthropic efforts; head to InsideOut's Crowd Rise page to donate.
