"There Are Supposed To Be 20 Cats Lined Up Cursing [Donald] Trump The F*ck Out"

Chuck believes the hip-hop community has grown soft and is not willing to stand up.
"If rappers are so bold like they used to be there would be like 10 diss records for Donald Trump right now," Chuck said in an interview. "But the average rapper is afraid because they don't know if Trump will have money for them one day. Money has brought their fear out. There are supposed to be 20 cats lined up cursing Trump the fuck out. This is supposed to be hip-hop, right?" (VIBE)
The rap veteran also said Americans should have more faith and trust in their president.
"President Obama is going to make a lot of moves that will make you go OMG and WTF, but this is the President of the United States," Chuck added. "So whatever little move that he can make for you, you got to fight for it. This whole thing with Donald Trump...he's on some bullsh*t. Someone needs to say, 'Yo, Donald Trump...you full of sh*t and I'm going to seriously f*ck you up.' That's what the rap community used to do, but now nobody can make that statement because everybody feels politically in debt." (VIBE)
Trump drew concern over the week after publicly calling out President Obama's birth certificate.
Donald Trump has been accused of racism. First, it's because of his focus on the 'birther' issue. Critics say no other US president has been accused of not being born in the US. Accusations against Obama, then, must stem from racism. "The birther thing is entirely racial. They've never asked a white Republican or Democratic about their birth certificate," said liberal political commentator Cenk Uygur. Then, there is Trump's questioning of how Obama got into Harvard and Columbia Universities. Trump also said he has friends whose children are highly accomplished but weren't accepted into these prestigious schools. (International Business Times)
Late night talk show host David Letterman stood up for President Obama and hinted at a possible Trump ban on his program.
"It's all fun, it's all a circus, it's all a rodeo, until it starts to smack of racism. And then it's no longer fun," Letterman told Dr. Phil McGraw last night (April 28) on The Late Show, referencing Trump's comments about Obama's education. Dr. Phil McGraw attempted to defend Trump, saying, "I don't think he always thinks everything through. I think sometimes he's a little from the hip, and I don't think he has a racist bone in this body." But Letterman made it clear that if Trump appeared on his show, he'd have to apologize. "If he comes back on this show, and I am not sure we want him back on this show under these circumstances, he ought to be prepared to apologize just for that kind of behavior." (USA Today)

Odd Future's Frank Ocean Fights The Power, "I'd Throw A F*ckin' Molotov In A Cop Car Right Now"

Writing on his Twitter page, Ocean described his problems with the LAPD.
"just got out of jail," he tweeted April 29th. "would like to go on the record saying..f*ck the police. f*ck a cop, non-stop. frank will never speak to a cop again in his natural life. i have no respect for police."
"i swear if i weren't sane in mind i'd throw a f*ckin molotov in a cop car right now."
"cuh had napoleon complex. and seemed really sad that he was on that lame a** bike patrol"
"now im finna listen to blackenedwhite and play a videogame with copkiller imagery in it"
"shout out to @kellyclancy for posting my bail."
"honestly, i wouldnt be this mad though if i werent hungry. whats open right now? i havent eaten in 30 hours at least."
"asked the pig yesterday, why he chose to be a pig..his response "it's the only job where u can kill someone and goto work the next day." (Frank Ocean's Twitter)
Reports claim Ocean was officially bailed out by his manager.
Odd Future's co-manager Kelly Clancy posted his bail in the early hours of Friday morning, but no further information was disclosed. Ironically, Ocean plays a police officer in the video for bandmate Tyler, the Creator's upcoming video "She," which was shot earlier this month in Los Angeles. (Rap-Up)
As of late, Ocean has been making his rounds with rap veteran Nas.
Odd Future is everywhere these days, even in the studio with Nas. The hip hop collective's lead crooner Frank Ocean has been making waves off his Def Jam shelved debut effort Nostalgia, Ultra. The work was released for free via Ocean's Tumblr page and since then, the singer/songwriter has been in demand. The artist has now been tapped by Nas for a collaboration. (RapFix)
Ocean's background reportedly revolves around New Orleans and Los Angeles.
What do you when you move thousands of miles away from home to pursue a career, get signed to a major record label, and nothing happens? If you're Frank Ocean you stop waiting for the powers that be to make a move and take matters into your own hands. The New Orleans-born, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter has become one of music's hottest commodities in a matter of weeks--but overnight success never occurs as quickly as it appears. Before his stellar self-released debut, nostalgia,ULTRA, was clocking downloads at an unprecedented pace, the 23-year-old's career was held up by obstacles ranging from Hurricane Katrina to industry politics, but those days are over. Soulja Boy Fingers Interscope In Cash Money Holdup

Although he admires the Cash Money Records establishment, Soulja Boy said a deal would have to wait.
"I met with Baby and Slim down in Miami," Soulja said in an interview. "He's trying to get me to come over to Cash Money...I still got paperwork with Interscope Records, so I'm just trying to figure out what I'ma do. I got a lot of great options on the table -- I've been a fan of Cash Money since I was young. I've been listening to Birdman's music since I was growing up. I would have never thought." (Rap-Up)
Last week, Soulja Boy broke the news of Baby's interest in him.
"If I could get anybody, I would have probably put Lil Wayne on my mixtape. Me and Wayne, man. I talk to him, but I'm cool with Birdman. When I'm in Miami I be with Birdman. He's trying to get me to come over to Cash Money. I'm cool with Birdman. I feel like if I drop my mixtape and get Wayne on it, I'd really have the juice then [Laughs]. It is a possibility. When I was down in Miami for a couple of weeks recording with Sean Kingston, Birdman reached out to me. He said 'come and have a meeting with me' and he told me 'yo man you'd go perfect with everything we got going on. Whatever you want. I want to bring you over to this family, bring you to Cash Money.'" (VIBE)
The rapper recently blamed Interscope for hurting his latest album's potential first-week record sales.
"Honestly, I shut down for a week [after my album dropped]. I wasn't talking to nobody, I wasn't talking to management, and I wasn't talking to the label," Soulja explained in an interview. "I wasn't picking up nobody's calls. I went like that for a week. I was in a state of confusion. I needed answers. I was doing this concert in Hawaii for my fans and then I was in Hawaii for a week. I wouldn't have been able to go platinum first week anyway, because the label only shipped like 18,000 copies. So I wasn't able to do gold first week or even 100k, none of that. They only put like 8,000 units in Best Buy. It was crazy. I didn't know all of that though. I was just going off of, 'My album's going to be in stores, so I'm going to promote it as much as I can.' I'm not the type of person to just be out like, 'Hey, my label did this and I was in a situation with that.' But I don't want to get caught up in record-label-artist drama or nothing like that. I just want to keep everything cool to make music, that's all." (Complex)

Lil Wayne Relives Nicki Minaj Butt Stunt, "There Isn't Any Words We Have Out To Explain It"

Wayne also confirmed past reports claiming he tricked Minaj into giving him the first lap dance.
"I think his was a little better than mine because he looked a little more excited than I did," Lil Wayne told Nardwuar referring to NBA star Steve Nash's lap dance from Nicki Minaj. "So I need to talk to Nicki about that...I've been talking to Webster [The Dictionary publishing corporation] about creating more words because there isn't any words that we have out to explain [her lap dance]. Her dancers does this routine every night where they bring this chair out so I figured I'd just be already sitting in the chair when they bring it out. So yeah, it worked." ("Nardwuar")
Nicki shocked fans by giving Wayne a lap dance during one of their late March shows.
Nicki Minaj usually treats one male fan to a lap dance during herconcerts, but the crowd was in for a surprise when that man happened to be Lil Wayne. Young Money's First Lady (and her jaw-dropping booty) danced up on a grinning Weezy during the "I Am Music II" tour stop at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum on Sunday (March 27). He was so overcome by the experience that he eventually fell out of his chair. Now that's a moment for life. (Rap-Up)
She later came forward and revealed how nerve-racking the experience was.
"Well, I have to say, I been giving lap dances [during the tour], but I didn't know Wayne was gonna jump out and pop out the back," Nicki told MTV News. "I literally was up there trying to get a boy, then I turn around and I see this cute little dread in the chair with his legs dangling off. And I was like, 'What?' I was super nervous." (MTV)

Ja Rule Cleans His Pipes, "I Made You Feel Like You Could Do This"

Co-signing rappers/singers like Drake, Rule downplayed his vocal ability.
"Drake can sing, man," Rule said in an interview. "I always admit it. I'm a shallow singer. But I think that's what attracted people to what I was doing, because I made you feel like you too could do this. I'm not blowing Luther Vandross notes over here! You could do what I'm doing. I think that's what made it pop music. I think for the people, that's what made it popular, that they were able to sing along with it and they weren't intimidated by singing along to it because it was a guy that can't sing." (RapFix)
Last month, Rule publicly taunted rap rival 50 Cent for taking after him and singing on records in the past.
"@50cent talked about me singing but that n*gga sure be hitting that high note lol My STUDENT!!!," Rule tweeted March 23rd."
"Lmao The PUPPET MASTER @50cent u still P*SSY at the end of the day haha!!! Follow Me!!!" (Ja Rule's Twitter)

Eminem Pushes Royce Da 5'9 To Win, "He's One Of The Greatest Rappers Ever"

Giving Em props for motivating him to work harder, Royce hinted at what Shady Records fans can anticipate from the upcoming EP.
"To me, [Eminem is] one of the greatest rappers ever. So if you're standing in there with him and watching him create, you can only spit on a certain level in order to even keep up," Royce said in an interview. "With me, I feel like it's good for me because I get pushed. It brings more out of me...We went in and did actually 11 records, two of 'em leaked, so we're gonna use the other nine and that was it. We didn't go do 15 records and try to pick the best. We didn't make it an Eminem album so Eminem is under the same pressure of selling what he normally sells. We're not really thinking about that." (MTV)
Yesterday, Em and Royce's "Fast Lane" track leaked online.
The dynamic duo of Detroit emceeing finally kick up some dust in the Shady colesium side by side and rip this Supa Dups and Eminem produced joint off their forthcoming Bad Meets Evil project. "Fast Lane" is the first sample available for this long awaited offering but things are bound to stay sounding just as devious between now and its June release. (The Source)
Details of a new joint EP emerged across the Internet earlier this week.
It's been over a decade since Eminem and Royce da 5'9" have recorded together as "Bad Meets Evil." But now they're reviving their "Bad Meets Evil" project for a brand new EP out this summer. D12 member Mr. Porter, who's produced tracks for Eminem and Royce previously, will produce, while Mobb Deep's Havoc, DJ Khalil and Bangladesh, among others, will also contribute to the EP. (All Headline News)
Royce and Em's music relationship dates back over a decade.
The pair first worked together in the late 1990s, calling themselves Bad Meets Evil, with Royce da 5'9" as the "bad" and Eminem as the "evil" half of the duo. One of the songs they recorded in those days, called "Bad Meets Evil," appeared on Eminem's major label debut, "The Slim Shady LP." (Chicago Tribune)

Tyler The Creator To Adult Swin: Sit Your "BlackA**" Down

Tyler resorted to his Twitter page to dispel the show's alleged title.
"It's Not Called Blacka**, Where The F*ck Are Yall Getting This From?," Tyler tweeted Friday (April 29). (Tyler the Creator's Twitter)
A commercial spot for their show has been showing up on Adult Swim as of late.
"Back in March, it was announced that Odd Future would be having their own pilot for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. We haven't heard much since, until Adult Swim had released a commerical for the upcoming program. They are calling it "BlackA**" for the time being (nothing's offical) "Be sure to thank Tyler the Creator and Odd Future the next time you run into them. They're working on a show they are calling: 'a mixture of Jacka** and Chappelle's Show.' We're calling it 'Blacka**.' At least until S&P calls us. [adult swim]" (Odd Future Talk)
Outside of television, Odd Future signed a record deal with RED Distribution/Sony this week.
"It's based on getting the distribution deal we've always envisioned that allows the group to 'sign themselves' to their own company and keep their masters. They will have 100% creative control of all aspects of their music, art, and release schedule with no 3rd party participation in outside business. Freedom and ownership was the whole point. Red and Sony know that its in everyone's best interest to maintain the group's authenticity and control. They built it, they deserve it. There's no cheesy hooks or fluorescent liquor product placements in the works.. It's about to be fun.. and different.. " (Rap Radar)

Freddie Gibbs Isn't Gay For Lil B, "Based God, Get The F*ck Outta Here N*gga"

Performing at Brooklyn's Southpaw venue, Gibbs taunted Lil B and disassociated their music from one another.
"No f*ck sh*t. This ain't no Lil B Based God or no f*cking f*ggot sh*t like that up here," Freddie told fans at a Southpaw Brooklyn show April 27th. "What the f*ck you thought this was? N*gga this is real rap. N*gga. Based God get the f*ck outta here n*gga." (YouTube)
Following the show, Freddie later hopped on Twitter to tell fans he is not actively involved in any rap beefs.
"I don't have beef wit nobody, I just have an opinion, and ain't none of y'all keyboard gangstaz gon approach me about it in person. Thanks.," he tweeted Thursday (April 28). (Freddie Gibbs' Twitter)
Earlier this month, Gibbs weighed in on Lil B's upcoming I'm Gay album title.
"[The] Lil B sh*t was funny at first but now I feel like it's just a bunch of white people laughing at a n*gga, like a minstrel show. Sh*t is wack. I ain't dissin' gays, if you gay that's yo biz." (XXL Mag)
Around mid-April, Gibbs broke the news of signing to Young Jeezy's Corporate Thugz Entertainment.
"It feels good," Freddie told DJ Smallz in an interview. "It's always good to work with people that you respect and people you have mutual respect for. I bump Jeezy. I think he carved his own lane in the game and that's what I'm trying to do. And what better way to elevate myself to the next level than doing it with somebody that I admire and respect. The situation with CTE, Jeezy, it felt correct...This is a long process for myself, but, I went with the gut feeling instead of just going with all the impulse and signing with someone just because they're hot or some sh*t like that. I ain't wanna be a d*ckrider because I see a lot of that in the game right now. So I just wanted to do things my way." ("Southern Smoke Radio")

Rick Ross Is No Big Spender, Says King Of Diamonds Strippers

According to model/stripper Blacc Chyna, Ross is lying about being a "Big Spender".
"Who the f*ck Rick Ross threw a million dollars [at]," Blacc Chyna said in a video. "If Rick Ross threw a million dollars, guess where I'd be? Not here! Boom! Pow! Pow! Pow! Shots f*cking fired! Ross? He think he who? I can't wait until he comes out with a song where he says, 'I think I'm Blacc Chyna.' [laughs] Officer Ricky!" (Delirious Domain)
Earlier this year, reports of Ross' $1 million spree hit the Internet.
Rick Ross knows how to burn money. The 'B.M.F.' rapper recently celebrated his 35th birthday in his hometown of Miami, shelling out approximately $1 million for a wild night on the town. The Bawse followed his birthday party at Play nightclub with an after-hours bash at Miami's famed King of Diamonds strip club, where he was joined by a handful of celebrity friends, including Busta Rhymes, Pharrell Williams and fellow Bugatti Boys member, Diddy. During the course of the night, Ross reportedly spent $1 million at the popular Miami strip club, where Lil Wayne also celebrated his return to the city, after serving jail time in New York. (The Boom Box)
In March, Ross talked about the buzz behind King of Diamonds.
"King of Diamonds is the biggest strip club in Florida," Ross told radio personality Angie Martinez. "It's nothing to go in there and have 50 ballplayers and some street dudes. It ain't nothing to spend some real change in King of Diamonds. Well that night, we broke the club. They did not have a dollar to give us as we requested more money -- not one dollar." (Hot 97)
In late March, Cash Money's Birdman spent $50,000 at a New York strip club.
Birdman and his Cash Money/ Young Money army invaded New York's Perfections strip club this weekend and dropped an estimated $50,000 in cash. Also joining the Cash Money head was rapper Corey Gunz and Lil Twist who celebrated his 18th birthday this past January. (Hip Hop Wired)

B.o.B. Reflects On Odd Future Diss, "People Love To Hate"

Referencing Tyler's "Yonkers" record, B.o.B. said the initial jab was not as serious as people made it out to be.
"I feel like some people perceived it as a shot but I feel like people love to hate," B.o.B. explained in an interview referring to Tyler the Creator's jab. "When he said the line, my fans weren't coming at me like, 'B.o.B., he's dissing you, he's dissing you!' Nobody was saying that. So I feel there's some things people can take it. You can take it and just make whatever you want out of it. But I don't harbor any negative emotions at all." (The Source)
Following the track's release, Tyler downplayed B.o.B.'s disses.
"I Didn't Hear My Name Or Nothing About Any Wolves So. Eh.," hetweeted Friday (March 25).
"If It Was A Diss Tho, Crazy That I'm On His Radar. Didn't Know People Took Me So Serious. I'm Officially In The Music Business."
""@bobatl: I don't feel like I was dissed, I actually laughed when I heard the line." See, Yall Take It To Serious.." (Tyler the Creator's Twitter)

50 Cent Shoots Blanks Over Past LOX Beef, "Why Don't I Like Them?..."

In a teaser for the May 8th special, 50 reflects on why his 2005 rap beef with the LOX never manifested into a major dispute.
"You know what happens, some of it is hip-hop," 50 explained in an interview with Funkmaster Flex when discussing beefs. "It's just the competitive nature, the art form. You look at, like, with Jadakiss' [and LOX's] situation, that was just rap. I don't have a reason. When you look back and two years go by, you say, 'Why don't I like them?' And you can't really remember why, then you know it's rap." ("Full Throttle")
In early 2009, Jadakiss spoke on reconciling his issues with 50.
"You gotta give [DJ] Rob E Rob the credit, he got me and big homie on the phone," Jada explained. "It wasn't no real beef anyway. That was just one of his musical tools on that Massacre album to make sure he did those numbers outta the gate, he had to come holla at the kid. I made a lot of money too from shows and what not, but it was good for a minute. I'm sure in the future you will see Jada and 50, LOX and G-Unit. Anything that can make money as long as it's beneficial for both parties and it's good for the hood, we'll do it." (This Is 50)

Waka Flocka Flame Goes Hard On The 'Net, "F*ck Critics, F*ck Blogs"

Speaking via audio clip, Flocka sent a direct shot at his haters.
"Good day America, hello world," Flocka said. "It's Flocka, we back, man. They say I'm the outcast of hip-hop, the stepchild of rap. I'm just saying f*ck critics, f*ck blogs. I'm going in. Salute Me Or Shoot Me, Volume 3." (Rumor Fix)
Flocka also addressed critics taking aim at his weight as of late.
"Yea, we eatin', this is gut money [right] here ya'll, we're all making money, guess those skinny guys must not be makin any bread." (Rumor Fix)
This week, blogs such as Media Take Out analyzed Waka Flocka's physical frame during a recent concert.
WTF???? LOOK HOW BIG AND BLOATED RAPPER WACKA FLOCKA IS NOW . . . HE'S ALMOST RICK ROSS SIZE!!! Wacka Flocka doesn't just go HARD I THE PAINT . . . dude goes HARD at the dinner table too (Media Take Out)

Soulja Boy & Diamond Speak Out, "Another Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure"

Both artists called into their local Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 to speak out.
"Eh man, you already know how that go," Soulja Boy said in an interview. "What's another man's trash is another man's treasure. Me and shorty rocking, straight like that. [Are me and Diamond a couple now?] Yup, straight up...I ain't got no reason to lie to y'all. Y'all been knowing me ever since I first came out, you know what I mean?"
"What's happening," Diamond said during the interview. "Yeah, it's official. Y'all know what's up. [laughs] The long way." ("Dirty Boyz")
Soulja Boy also recently opened up about his close relationship with Diamond.
"Man, I've been knowing Diamond for four years; ever since I came on the scene with 'Crank That.' She's been a cool individual and recently we started rocking heavy. Y'all already know (laughs)...Obviously, it's stuff you gotta deal with when you're a celebrity and in a relationship in the open. It don't matter who girl it would've been. If you a celebrity and you dating people gonna talk. It is what it is." (XXL Mag)
Prior to their address, Lil Scrappy spoke on his ex-girlfriend linking up with Soulja Boy.
"We ain't been together so I can't say nothing, you feel me," Scrappy said in an interview referring to Diamond. "We keep it closed in, you feel me? When people see that, they observe and see different things. I can't help what people see...When I see the picture [of them together] it's like, 'OK, wow. OK, cool.' It really don't do nothing to me. You feel me? ... I'm into making moneyright now and that's what she was into doing and I guess [Soulja Boy] is into doing. Everybody's into making money but at the end of the day, you can't help when two people like each other. You feel me? ... I been kicking it with her for a minute but we've both been openly dating. I'm sure y'all are gonna see some pictures of some [of my girls]. You feel me? Shorty gotta get her money. However shorty gotta get her money -- and shorty is young. If she out with that dude, that dude and that dude, they can't judge her..." ("Dirty Boyz")

Wale Calls Kid Cudi Truce Deeper Than Rap, "We Both Had A Little Bit Of Turmoil In Our Lives"

Claiming Cudi personally hit him up, Wale said they both aired out their issues and came to terms with one another.
"We handled it like men," Wale said in an interview. "That's my man. We wouldn't want to keep going on not being friends. I'm about to do my second album, Cudi is working on his rock album. We just felt like it's time. Like, 'Man, we used to be cool. We used to hang every day. F*ck all the bullsh*t.' We both had a little bit of turmoil in our lives, but we're both in a happy place now. We talk all the time now. We talk about what's going on in life. The thing about me and him is we always talk about what's going on beyond music. We always used to do that and now we're back on that now." (Complex)
Last month, Wale said his close relationship with Cudi initially sparked their internal feud.
"We're close friends, and the closer friends you are with somebody the worse the fights [can] be," Wale said in an interview with Free. "We squashed it. Everything good. He good, he good. He's taking care of his kid, working hard, working on his new album. He's working with a lot of the same people, he got a lot of new faces. His circle is significantly smaller, but sometimes that's what you need to do, reevaluate your circle." (WPGC 95.5)

Amber Rose Breaks Silence On Kanye West/Wiz Khalifa Coachella Dispute Rumor

Rose downplayed rumors claiming a heated exchange between Yeezy and Wiz took place.
The woman caught in the middle was a little hesitant striking down the rumor. "Was there a confrontation at Coachella?," Amber asked, repeating the question. There is a long pause. "Rumors are crazy and people want things to happen and make it their real life and I guess that's all I can really say about that." (VIBE)
During his "Stronger" Coachella performance, Ye took a subliminal shot at his ex.
After an energetic hour long set at the Californian music festival, West and rapper Wiz Khalifa nearly came to blows in an ugly confrontation over Khalifa's current girlfriend, the model Amber Rose. West, who used to date Rose, took a dig at his ex during a performance of his hit song 'Stronger.' The original lyrics of the song includes a line which says: "I'd do anything for a blonde dyke. And she'll do anything if the time's right". Yet, with Rose standing on the side of the stage, West altered the word to: 'I did anything for that blonde dyke. And she did anything when the time's right.' (Independent Online)
Additional reporting claimed a possible verbal altercation may have followed the performance.
Afterwards, sources claim, Wiz confronted West about the lyrics, explaining, "Wiz didn't want to fight, he just wanted all this catty bulls**t to end." But the source says that there was no peace made. "Kanye said something to Wiz and next thing you know security and people's entourages were everywhere pushing and shoving. It could have got real ugly." (Zimbio)

Tyler The Creator Dissects Homophobic Stereotype, "Gay Just Means You're Stupid"

In Tyler's eyes, the term "gay" is less harmful than most people assume.
"I'm not homophobic. I just think f*ggot hits and hurts people. It hits. And gay just means you're stupid. I don't know, we don't think about it, we're just kids. We don't think about that sh*t. But I don't hate gay people. I don't want anyone to think I'm homophobic. ([His friend] Jasper walks into the room) But he's a f*cking f*ggot!" (NME Magazine)
Last week, Chicago rapper Yung Berg shared his thoughts on Lil B's title.
"A lot of people are scared to do that," says Yung Berg. "I think that Lil B stands for what a lot of people are scared of. They're scared of somebody with a voice and an opinion that really doesn't give a f*ck about what somebody else thinks about them...With the whole 'I'm Gay' situation, I understand it 100 percent. People give too much power to words. So if he jumps out there and it's a positive thing and says, 'Yo, I'm gay, and we're gonna take the definition away from the word and unify it to all people,' then I'm with that. That's some next-level sh*t right there." (Billboard)
Since publicly announcing the title at this month's Coachella music festival, Lil B has encountered extreme criticism.
"People been hitting me up like, 'I'm gonna bash your head in,' 'you f----t,' 'I'm gonna kill you,' " Lil B said in an interview. "I'm not gonna stop and I'm not scared of anybody on earth. That's why I [titled the album I'm Gay] and nobody gonna stop me...I'm very gay, but I love women. I'm not attracted to men in any way. I've never been attracted to a man in my life. But yes I am gay, I'm so happy. I'm a gay, heterosexual male." (MTV)
He officially announced his album title initiative during a Coachella performance in his home state.
"I'm gonna do the most controversial thing in hip-hop," B said while performing at Coachella in Indio, California. "Y'all heard it hear first. And I'm gonna just show y'all that words don't mean sh*t. I'm gonna make an album called 'I'm Gay.' Now I'm gonna tell y'all why I'm the first person to do it in hip-hop and why y'all are the first people to know my reason...First of all, gay means happy. I like women, I love women, you feel me? But it just shows me, no matter what you do, live life, you only got one life to live, be happy. F*ck the hating." (YouTube)

Cam'ron Admits Ghostwriting '97 Anthem For Ma$e

According to Killa, the opportunity was presented to him by fellow Harlem rapper Ma$e.
In an interview with Hot 97 personalities DJ Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg on their Juan Epstein podcast, the Harlemite revealed that he wrote Cease A Leo's rhymes on Lil' Kim's 1996 hit "Crush on You." "What happened was, [Untertainment CEO Lance] Un [Rivera] gave Mase $30,000 to write five songs for Lil' Cease at that time and Mase gave me $5,000 of the 30 to write one or two of the songs," he said. "I wrote the 'Crush on You' song and they ended up keeping it for Lil' Kim album but it was really for Lil' Cease. The original 'Crush on You' is all Lil' Cease, Lil' Kim isn't even on the record." Cam, who didn't have a solo album deal at the time, says he was paid the $5,000 up front and did not receive any residuals after the song started to gain success, making its way to No. 2 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music charts in 1997. (XXL Mag)
The song is officially featured on Lil Kim's 1996 debut album, Hardcore.
"Crush on You" is a single by Lil' Kim from her debut album and features fellow Junior M.A.F.I.A. members Lil' Cease & The Notorious B.I.G.. It landed at number twenty-three in the UK Singles Chart and number six on the Billboard Hot 100. The original album version had Lil' Cease rapping alone, while the single version featured him with Lil' Kim. Aaliyah and Sheek Louch of The LOX are featured in the music video. The song contains a sample of Jeff Lorber Fusion's "Rain Dance" from their 1979 album Water Signs. (Wikipedia)
Following the song's success, Cease would eventually sign to Lil Kim's record label.
With his distinctive lisping style, he made his recorded debut in 1994 as a member of the Junior M.A.F.I.A., issuing the single "Players Anthem"; the full-length Conspiracy followed in 1995, and that same year Lil' Cease scored a hit with the Lil' Kim duet "Crush on You." On March 9, 1997, he and the Notorious B.I.G. were driving away from a party in Los Angeles when Biggie was shot and killed; Lil' Cease continued as a solo artist, signing to Lil' Kim's Queen Bee label and issuing The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo in mid-1999. Jim Jones Balls Up & Rejects Plea Offer, "I'm Trying To Stay Out Of This Place"

Appearing in court Tuesday (April 26), Jones said he had no intention of making a confession.
Harlem rapper Jim Jones turned down a plea deal on Tuesday and may be headed to trial for driving his Bentley on a minor suspended license charge. "I'm trying to stay out of this place," the hip hop artist quipped in his second court case in two years. (New York Daily News)
Jones' attorney spoke on her client's behalf and downplayed the suspended license charge.
"He believed he had a valid license," his lawyer, Marianne Bertuna, said after court. "Sometimes, if you're traveling as he does, and you miss a notice about an outstanding fine, they suspend you automatically." Jones joked that he had no idea why he rejected the DA's request that he plead guilty to misdemeanor driving without a license and pay a $500 fine. "I have no idea what's going on!" he said, laughing. "What my lawyer said to do, I do. That's what I pay lawyers for." Bertuna said she hopes the matter will be resolved with a plea to a traffic infraction on Jones' next court date, June 15. (New York Post)
The rapper was busted in Manhattan around late March.

Lil Scrappy On Diamond Crankin' That Soulja Boy, "Shorty Gotta Get Her Money"

Admitting they have not been close for some time, Scrappy said he cannot knock Diamond for being young and in love.
You feel me? ... I'm into making money right now and that's what she was into doing and I guess [Soulja Boy] is into doing.
Yesterday, Scrappy's mother, Mama D, voiced her grievances with Diamond.
"She lied like a motherf*cker! Called Scrappy back, talking about 'I was just hanging out with him.' Whoo! I want to put my hand around that b*tch throat. I want you to go on the radio and say 'Mama D is angry because you don't mess with Mama D son.' But you know what ladies and gentlemen? Her son is doing good. The Prince of the South is still the reigning prince because he's chill like that, he's gonna keep it pimpin'. It's f'd up how she did it -- low down dirty b*tch...She gonna give it up like that, she might as well get some money for it h*e. Scrappy, Mama D, we gonna keep it G, you heard me? Let the radio know that Scrappy the Prince of the South is still the reigning Prince and he's chilling on South Beach, okay, with a beautiful lady. He ain't stunting that sh*t there, he's all good." Amber Rose Snaps Back To Reality, VH1 Reps Deny Model's Show

Despite VH1's response, Rose reportedly does have a reality series in the works.
Amber Rose does not have a reality series on VH1 called "Behind The Shades" as she has stated, at least not yet. A representative from VH1 told MTV News that they have no information on a reality show from Kanye West's ex-girlfriend at this time. However, other sources has told us that the former Ford model and stripper has shot a pilot for a reality series that she is shopping around to multiple networks, but the series has not yet been picked up. (RapFix)
Last week, Rose broke the news of her reality show being picked up by VH1.
"Well, I also have a reality show that's gonna come out on VH1 and start filming early June, so that's gonna be incorporated in the show. The shop isn't up right now. You'll see the process that I have to go through in order to get -- it's not really easy to get a store and get people to come....but it'll go through. My show is going to be an open book of my life and my family and my businesses and its called 'Behind Her Shades,' because usually I have shades on and its everything behind them that people don't know about. But they will learn, and part of that is my shade shop. It's all vintage frames." (VIBE)
