Lil B Ready To Come Out, "I'm Gonna Do The Most Controversial Thing In Hip-Hop"

West Coast rapper Lil B has the media on its heels after revealing his intent to name the title of an upcoming album, I'm Gay.

Performing at the annual Coachella festival over the weekend, B broke the news to a crowd of fans.
"I'm gonna do the most controversial thing in hip-hop," B said while performing at Coachella in Indio, California. "Y'all heard it hear first. And I'm gonna just show y'all that words don't mean sh*t. I'm gonna make an album called 'I'm Gay.' Now I'm gonna tell y'all why I'm the first person to do it in hip-hop and why y'all are the first people to know my reason...First of all, gay means happy. I like women, I love women, you feel me? But it just shows me, no matter what you do, live life, you only got one life to live, be happy. F*ck the hating." (YouTube)
Last summer, Lil B talked about not being a homosexual.
"It's a touchy subject. I respect the h*ll out of gays and the gay community. I'm not a gay man. I don't agree with sex with another man or f*cking another man or giving blow jobs to another guy. That's not my thing. I'd rather f*ck a girl, f*ck her in her a**, f*ck her in the mouth or something. Sorry for cussing." (Complex)
Recently, producer 9th Wonder gave props to Lil B's music.
"Lil B reached out to me 3 or 4 months ago on Twitter and told me he's a big fan of myself and Murs," 9th revealed in an interview. "At the time I didn't know who he was, so I Google'd his stuff, and I was like "ooo-kay" [Laughs]. I saw 'Wonton Soup' and all that. Then, the Twitter world started going crazy off the fact that I was even talking to Lil B...It wasn't until he released a record with Tony Yayo called 'Based,' that Khrysis told me to check out. I heard it and he was saying some stuff on there -- I was digging it -- so of course I hit him back on Twitter to tell him. He was just really adamant about getting up. I told him if we get up -- you can't do no 'Wonton Soup' [Laughs]. And he knew it." (VIBE)
