Lil Boosie Accused Of Being A Real Bad Azz, Drug Smuggling Charges Issued

Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie may be living up to his "Bad Azz" alias as Louisiana State Police have reportedly filed drug related charges against him.
According to reports, Boosie is one of three inmates accused of smuggling drugs into his prison facility.
Troopers said Torrence Hatch, 28, and two others were allegedly in the process of trying to get codeine syrup into the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. The other suspects were identified as Titus Franklin, 27, and Arthur Stewart, also 27. All three men are from Baton Rouge. LSP detectives and the East Baton Rouge Violent Crimes Unit reported receiving information the trio was conspiring to smuggle the Schedule V Dangerous Controlled Substance (CDS) into Angola, where Hatch is incarcerated. Investigators said Stewart and Franklin made arrangements through an undercover agent to have the codeine delivered to Hatch. All three men have been charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution. Hatch was also charged with inciting a felony. (WAFB News)
Earlier this month, Boosie spoke on his experience behind bars.
"[I'm here] 'cause of the songs I made, before I was indicted, about the police in Baton Rouge and what's going on here," Boosie added. "There's a lot with our record label, that the system don't like...They took my hard drive out of my house after I got arrested. I have albums for days in there. They still haven't returned it. They've had it for d*mn near a year now. I need that music...I'm leaving Louisiana the first day I get out of prison. I'm a major target down here. I'll thank God for everything and get back to the money." (XXL Mag)
A couple weeks ago, a shirtless in-jail photo of Boosie began circulating online.
Lil Boosie wants his fans to know that although he's currently locked down his name still holds strong in the Hip-Hop game. Over the weekend a photo of the MC emerged, showing the Louisiana rapper for the first time since his incarceration draped in jewelry in a cell he's currently housed in. In the candid photo, the 'Wipe Me Down" rapper appears in good spirits despite the numerous felony charges he's currently facing. A shirtless Boosie is depicted with many gold chains, including one with an anchor and a gold studded bracelet. Boosie's ice game has seen better times for the flashy rapper who displayed millions of dollars on the average day but is now facing financial battles separate from his legal issues. (RapFix)
Last June, Boosie was indicted on murder charges dating back to October 2009.
Torrance "Lil Boosie" Hatch was indicted in the October 21st shooting death of Terry Boyd. Michael Louding and Adrian Pittman are also indicted on first degree charges on Boyd's murder. East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore says all three of the alleged killers meet the criteria of first degree charges. Moore said that the death penalty is not out of the question. Hatch and girlfriend Walnita Decuir along with a former Dixon Correctional Institute guard and an inmate were also indicted on drug charges. (WAFB News)
