Lauryn Hill Addresses Pregnancy, Issues Apology In Open Letter

Grammy-winning singer Lauryn Hill has released an open letter to fans discussing her pregnancy and apologizing for some concert complications from earlier this year.
In the letter, Hill says her expectant status has caused a few setbacks in regard to show appearances.
Greetings faithful fans and friends,
Coming back home after several months of extensive reconnecting with supporters and music lovers. We thank you for your continued appreciation. The majority of these dates were planned in advance of me knowing about the continued growth of my family (wink, wink). There were some shows that we started late. We apologize and thank you for your patience. That said, I can't wait to re-engage with you, and give you a musical experience worth coming back for. Let's do it real soon.
With affection, Ms. Hill @mshillmvngtrgt

Last January, Hill received criticism for arriving to multiple shows later than expected.
Earlier this month, Lauryn showed a total lack of appreciation for her fans by arriving three hours late to a Brooklyn, NY show, and now she's done ityet again at a show in Atlanta. Hill's Atlanta show was supposed to start at 9 p.m., but she didn't show up until after midnight...and it was all downhill from there. Lauryn announced to fans that she wanted to play something different, so she forced her band to "speed up the music," which totally ruined her classic songs. (Perez Hilton)
Over the weekend, Hill hinted at expecting her sixth child during a Detroit show.
Former first lady of the celebrated Fugees Lauryn Hill is expecting her sixth child and confirmed the news at a concert this past Saturday (June 4) in Detroit. While onstage at Chene Park in the Motor City, a late arriving Ms. Hill announced at the end of her set that she is indeed pregnant after dropping hints throughout the year that she may be expecting at a previous event. Hill currently is a mother of three boys and two girls with oldest son Zion turning 14 this coming August. Fans of Lauryn Hill will no doubt recollect when the singer immortalized her first born in song on the track "To Zion" from her debut solo album The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill. (RapFix)
According to a fan in attendance, Hill will once again take a music hiatus due to her pregnancy.
After months of hinting about it, Lauryn made it official at the end of her concertat Detroit's Chene Park Saturday night. "She told the crowd, 'I'm going to be taking time off to give birth'," Ashley Trybula of Detroit radio station Hot 102.7 tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. (RadarOnline)
