Nas Says Spread 'Em, "Open It Back Up, That Real Sh*t"

Rap veteran Nas recently discussed his new "Nasty Nas" single invading airwaves and why he tucked away his lyrical wrath over the past few years.
Promising his hunger is back in full effect, Nas said it is time to bring real hip-hop back.
"Nah, I just tucked it. I tucked it because I wanted to do other things, experiment with other sh*t and didn't want to do the same sh*t over and over," Nas said about his hunger for hip-hop. "Hip-hop got so big that it's important to open it back up, that real sh*t. No dis to what nobody else is doing, but it's important to open this real sh*t back up." (MTV)
He also revealed plans to possibly change his Life Is Good album title due to misinterpretations.
"A lot of people around me didn't understand where I was coming from. They kinda thought I was saying, "Let's pop bottles, we're rich, everything's good." That's not where I was coming from," he said. "So there's another title that came, that kind of fits a little better, and you might hear about that. There might be a change coming real soon." (MTV)
Nas' new record began circulating online earlier this week.
Nasty Nas is back to claim his throne with the first street single from his upcoming album Life Is Good. Over an old school, gritty production from Salaam Remi, QB's Finest spits verse after verse without a hook. "I'm not in the winters of my life or the beginning stage/ I am the dragon/ Maserati, pumpin' Biggie the great legend, blastin'/ I'm after the actress who played Faith Evans," he rhymes before declaring, "Make room for the king." (Rap-Up)
The rap veteran also hit up Twitter to announce his return following the song's release.
"I FEEL LIKE I TOUCHED THE WORLD TONIGHT. LOVE YOU ALL. #NASTYNAS," Nas tweeted June 13th.
"HERE WE GO...."
"NEW YORK CITY.... I'M BACK.... I'M HOME! http://t.co/lz7j95V #NASTYNAS" (Nas' Twitter)
