50 Cent Confirms New G-Unit Signing, "Watch The Hate Turn Into Love, It's Always Like This"

G-Unit leader 50 Cent has confirmed reports claiming West Coast rapper Genasis has officially joined the same team made up of Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Kidd Kidd and Shawty Lo.

Confirming the addition Thursday (July 21), 50 embraced his latest Unit signee.
"@genasisishere is the newest artist signed to G-UNIT records. He has different sound and style every body's gonna like. #SK," he tweeted July 21st.
"It funny to see people hate when they see a new artist get a shot. There so selfish but there's aways room for new artist in hip hop #SK"
"@genasisishere watch the hate turn into love its always like this. Congratulations you on now. #SK" (50 Cent's Twitter)
Gen made his unexpected G-Unit announcement yesterday.
"Just inked a deal with @50cent ..I'm Officially G-unit records," Genasis tweeted July 20th. (Genasis' Twitter)
Genesis hails from California is most known for his track, "Jackie Chan."
The California artist has made a bit of a splash with his bouncy track "Jackie Chan" and maintains an active YouTube account detailing his exploits and his musical performances. All eyes will certainly be on G-Unit as the next generation of artists on 50's imprint will help usher in this latest phase for the Queens mogul. (RapFix)
Earlier this month, 50 denied speculation claiming Lil Kim signed to the Unit.
"She's not actually signed to G-Unit," 50 explained in an interview. "We didn't even have discussions about that. I heard it, I heard people say it too. It was just like, there was no reason to give confirmation for something that didn't actually happen at all. Like, when people say Shawty Lo is signed to G-Unit, they think that he's actually signed an artist deal directly to G-Unit when the project that we're doing is a lot bigger. It's a joint venture."
