Lil Wayne's Dancers Beat Up P.F. Chang's Waitress, "They Threw Her To The Floor & Continued Punching"

Two female dancers for rap star Lil Wayne have reportedly been charged with attacking a P.F. Chang's restaurant employee over an argument related to their bill.

The incident took place Sunday (July 10) in Connecticut.
Two dancers who perform with with rapper Lil Wayne have been charged with assaulting a waitress at a restaurant inside Westfarms Mall. Twenty-four-year-old Jennifer Slaughter of Auburn Hills, Mich. and 26-year-old Della Hamby of North Hollywood Calif. are accused of punching and pulling the hair of a waitress after eating at the P.F. Chang's restaurant on Sunday night. Both women were charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. They are due in Community Court on Wednesday. (The Republic)
A detailed account of what exactly took place has also emerged online.
The women paid and left, but they later returned to retrieve a cell phone that one had left behind. They swore at the waitress and threatened her. Then, witnesses told police, one pulled the waitress's hair while the other punched her. They threw the waitress to the floor and continued punching her, police said. (News One)
Slaughter and Hamby were in town preparing for a Wednesday night Weezy show.
Both women were in town for rehearsals and were scheduled to dance on stage with Lil Wayne at his performance Wednesday night at the Comcast Theatre, said Sarah Cunningham, spokesperson for the tour. Slaughter and Hamby are contracted performers and not employees of the tour or Lil Wayne's record label, she said. Six to eight dancers usually are part of the show, Cunningham said. They often work for professional troupes and audition to be part of Lil Wayne's tour, she said. (Courant)
In 2009, one of Wayne's bodyguards was accused of assaulting a teenager.
It all went down after Wayne's show last Wednesday (August 12) at the Cricket Pavilion in suburban Phoenix -- when 2 buses from his 4-bus entourage stopped at a nearby apartment complex. Law enforcement sources tell us witnesses saw several women getting on and off the buses -- and it was then that certain people in the complex began to get violent. Witnesses told police they heard at least one shot fired during the altercation -- though it's unclear who fired it. (TMZ)
