Nicki Minaj's Assistant Responds To "Brutal Attack" Rumor

Young Money star Nicki Minaj's assistant, Safaree Samuels, has stepped forward to deny rumors and gossip claiming he was brutally attacked in Texas last week.

Along with Safaree's denial, a Houston police department spokesperson has also addressed the situation.
Safaree traveled with Minaj over the weekend to New Orleans and Atlanta. And judging from Safaree's active Twitter account, he isn't sitting in a hotel room recuperating from being knocked "unconscious". He even addressed the nonsense on Twitter, writing: "If 1 more person calls me or text me asking me if Im ok or am I hurt I'm gonna jump off a cliff. U ppl cannot be serious sometimes. #coonery" And for what it's worth, a spokesperson with Houston police department also tells RumorFix that they have no such record of the incident, which, if the brawl happened in a hotel, most likely would have been reported. Last week, reports claimed the assistant was attacked by members of Young Money.
YMCMB goons visited Safaree last night - inside his hotel room in Houston . . . and he got BRUTALLY STOMPED OUT. According to our insider, he was beaten UNCONSCIOUS. As of THIS MORNING, we're told that Safaree is RECUPERATING inside a hotel room in Houston. Its not clear whether Safaree is expected to STAY ON as Nicki's hype man for the remainder of the tour. But we can tell you this . . . the NEXT STOP on Nicki's tour is NEW ORLEANS - home of the YMCMB. Baby, Slim, Mack Maine and Weezy are ALL expected to be there. And if Safaree is SMART . . . he WON'T BE be on the tour bus when it arrives in New Orleans. (Media Take Out)
A few days ago, a police report emerged online confirming Minaj recently had a physical altercation with a man believed to be Safaree.
Dallas police also downplayed the incident and released the police report. The report says Minaj and an assistant had an argument by the pool at the hotel then went up to the room they were sharing. Then they argued over a suitcase. The report says Minaj "...was looking into the suitcase. Witness one grabbed the suitcase and as he was picking it up, he shoved the suitcase across the complainant's chin and lower lip." (WFAA)
Despite the incident, Minaj decided not to press charges.
The officers who responded to a hotel staffer's call observed, as stated in the report, there was "slight swelling and redness" to Nicki's chin. Additionally, it is noted that Nicki's teeth "struck the inside of her lower lip, causing the inside of the lower lip to cut and start to bleed." After she was checked by the paramedics, the MC told the officers she did not want to press charges. (Ace Showbiz)
