T.I. Says Never Call Him Phony, "I Don't Do Fake Sh*t Shawty"

Incarcerated rapper T.I. is counting down the days until he becomes a free man, releasing an open letter to his supporters thanking them for their loyalty.

Confirming speculation of a September release, Tip said his return is slowly approaching.
"What up world? I appreciate the continued love and support that everyone has been giving me," he wrote July 13th. "This chapter in my story will soon be coming to an end and I will be back in the flesh with you sooner than later. In the meantime I want to give a special shout out to a few particular individuals that have been sending me letters, cards, comments, tweets and just overall holding me down. A little loyalty goes a long way with me...I don't do fake sh*t shawty. So I can't thank y'all enough for keeping it 1 thousand and as soon as I'm able I WILL RETURN THE FAVOR!!! And that's on PHIL!!! I love y'all and I'll see you in September." (Trap Muzik)
Former Atlanta Falcons football star Deion Sanders recently hit up SOHH and offered his advice for Tip.
"I would definitely keep God first," Sanders told SOHH when asked what advice he would give Tip. "Sometimes we have to redirect ourselves and just put God first. Every now and then, we can't contain [earthly] desires and therefore we get lost. And then we have to be redirected by trial and tribulation. But you don't want it to get to that point. Unfortunately, it does with so many of us. Not just with athletes and entertainers like T.I., but with everyday life as well. Something has to wake us up and alarm us that life is real and you're here for a purpose. Not just to consume time." (SOHH)
Around mid-June, Tip also released an open letter thanking fans and celebrities for their support.
"What up world? Been a minute. I'd like to thank you all for the thousands of letters, cards, books, pictures and words of encouragement. I'm truly grateful. I'm sure you already know I'm nearing the end of this chapter of my life, and looking forward to taking all of the things I've learned with me while leaving all the rest of the "BS" behind. I've been tuned in somewhat to what's been happening out there. I can't even begin to tell y'all how much being on the outside looking in, having to witness all that's going on (and not going on) in the game affects me. Not being able to do what I love especially. It's like a whole other sentence within itself. But I really do appreciate all the love, respect, shout outs and salutations during this very difficult period in my life. Everybody from da homies Weezy, Killa Mike, R. Rozay my lil bruh B.o.B, Terrence J (106 & Park) and my "durty" Nelly." (Trap Muzik)
While sentenced to 11 months in jail for a probation violation last fall, Tip is currently slated to return home in September.
T.I. is coming home. The incarcerated rapper, born Clifford Harris, Jr., will be released from Arkansas' Federal Correctional Institution Forrest City Low on September 29, 2011 after completing his 11-month sentence for violating his parole. (Hip Hop DX)
T.I. and his wifer Tiny were initially arrested last summer in Los Angeles on drug possession charges resulting in the rapper serving an 11-month sentence for a probation violation beginning November 2010.
