Drake Wants The Boss, "Me & Him Have Talked About Potentially Doing Something After Our Albums Come Out"

Young Money's Drake has revealed his interest to hop in the recording studio with Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross for a potential joint effort.
Drake credits the chemistry he feels around his "Aston Martin Music" collaborator as motivation.
"[One person] I've discussed doing projects with is obviously Lil Wayne," Drake said in an interview. "And one of the people of the people I enjoy rapping with most in this business is Rozay [Rick Ross]. Me and him have talked about potentially doing something after our albums comes out. I just love making songs with him. Every time we make a song it just seems to be something I love listening to after the fact when I'm in my car." (Entertainment Weekly)
Last spring, Ross talked about Drake co-signing his Maybach Music Group movement.
"Yeah, yeah, [Drake'll be on the Self Made compilation album], most definitely. Drake will be on the compilation and you know that's the homie so it's all love. He's embracing the movement and you know, it just feels good to rock out with your family. Shout-out to YMCMB." (Bootleg Kev)
In the winter, Drizzy named Ross' Teflon Don 2010 summer LP as the year's best.
"Favorite album of this year," Drake said in an interview, "[I'd say] Rick Ross. Rick Ross had the best album of this year, yeah. Phenomenal album." (Billboard)
A few months ago, Young Money's Lil Wayne said a joint Drake LP would be placed on hold.
"I've had ideas to do an album with T-Pain. We've got the T-Wayne situation going, so Drake's a very respectable dude. He's like, 'I don't want to disrespect none of those situations, so I'm just going to wait 'til you have a real good moment to focus on you and I doing an album.' ... And then you know my obligations to the Like Father, Like Son albums with [Birdman aka] Stunna. It's like no disrespect to those. I don't want to clash with nothing." (MTV)
