J. Cole On Jay-Z & Beyonce: "It Feel Like The Whole World Is Having A Baby"

Roc Nation's J. Cole has shared his reaction to witnessing his boss Jay-Z and wife Beyonce Knowles shock the world last Sunday, as the powerful twosome made their pregnancy status public knowledge.
Recalling how he found out, Cole expressed his happiness for the music couple.
"Somebody was like 'Beyonce pregnant?!' Then they showed the photo of her, I guess on the carpet with her hands on her stomach showing her baby bump. It was just instant smiles and instant disbelief or whatever but I was just telling somebody it feel like the whole world is having a baby right now. That's how ill it is," Cole said. "Not only are they huge celebrities but I feel like they did it right. They carried themselves in the public light right, they represent black people, right, correctly. So it's like the only thing we've seen like that is Will and Jada [Smith] but even they're a little more relevant to us, like immediately more relevant to our generation at least my generation so that's why it feels so important." Flipmode Squad leader Busta Rhymes has also congratulated Jay and Bey.
"@Beyonce definately smashed the Vma's!!! Congrats 2 u and @S_C_ on ur new baby...God Bless...," he tweeted August 28th. (Busta Rhymes' Twitter)
Beyonce's pregnancy was also confirmed by her camp on the night of the MTV Video Music Awards.
B's got a bump! Superstar singer Beyonce dropped a red-carpet bombshell tonight when she suddenly announced that she's pregnant at an awards show. Beyonce, 29, dropped the news by cradling her stomach on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards as photographers snapped away. Her rep told The Post she was "happy to confirm" the singer is indeed pregnant. It's the first child for the chart-topper, who is married to rapper Jay-Z. (New York Post)
Earlier this summer, Beyonce revealed an ideal time she hoped to have a baby.
"I always said I'd have a baby at 30," she said in an interview. "I'm 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. I'm not retiring...Only God knows [when]...I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you're mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I'm so looking forward to it." ("Piers Morgan")
