Machine Gun Kelly Ra-Ta-Ta-Tats Face Ink, "Nah Dude, No Ice Creams On My Face"

With Soujla Boy Tell Em announcing plans to get rid of his facial tattoos this week, SOHH reached out to ink fanatic and newly signed Bad Boy Records artist Machine Gun Kelly about dome paint.

The 21 year-old rapper said he wants to save his pretty boy looks for the Hollywood screen.

"Nah dude, nah, no ice creams on my face," Kelly told SOHH referring to Gucci Mane's publicized face ink. "I'm trying to score those movie roles, man. I'm trying to be on the big screen like I'm f*cking Ronald Reagan, f*cking Harrison Ford. [laughs] I mean, hmmm... Tom Cruise. Leonardo DiCaprio. As soon as I lay the major movie role where I'm satisfied, like, never having to be in a movie again, I'm going to tattoo the sh*t out of my whole body." (SOHH)

Yesterday, Soulja Boy announced a game plan to get rid of his face ink.

"just woke in new york its a good day bless everybody reading this tweet live it up. i'm getting my face tattoos removed today," he tweeted August 4th. (Soulja Boy's Twitter)

In March, G-Unit leader 50 Cent discussed the negative side of artists tattooing their faces.

"That's the craziest thing," 50 explained in an interview. "Not necessarily Gucci [Mane], but to tattoo your face says that there's not a possibility that you can actually walk into a legitimate establishment without makeup covering your face every day. That does not work. It creates a separation. It says, 'I'm an artist.' That's it. That's the statement you make when you go and tattoo your face...But know that the public will not have interest in you as an artist for life. You have to be phenomenal. Talk to the best that do it and they will tell you that it will take more than you being an artist. It takes marketing, maneuvering to generate for that long.
