DMX Calls Lil B 'Lil B*tch' Over 'Gay' Album Title

Former Ruff Ryders leader DMX has shared his reaction to Lil B recently making headlines for releasing an album titled I'm Gay and spoke on the power words have.

Shocked by the West Coast rapper's LP title, X warned the young rhymer about his choice of words.

"Serious? You serious," DMX asked when told of Lil B's album title. "Lil B? Lil B? Lil B*tch? There is power in words. There is power in words. You gave us power and the word, think before you speak that way when I speak you know I'm gonna teach. There is power in words. But don't go over there. Don't go 'that' way. Ugh. I'm at a point where I don't care what anybody else is doing. I don't even give a f*ck over what anybody else is doing. I know what I'm doing." (XXL Mag)

In July, Lil B addressed his controversial album title and clarified his sexual preference.

"Shout out to everyone who said I copped out by putting 'I'm Happy' under 'I'm Gay,' but that was my reasoning," Lil B said in an interview. "How can I cop out when in my head, I had a plan to do that? Like, I'm not literally a homosexual, but I'm happy...I did it to also embrace the homosexual community also, but some motherf*ckers was like, I copped out, 'Ah B, you should've stuck with the 'I'm Gay' title.' I'm not totally gay, but I am gay. Salute. Perez Hilton, [Lady] Gaga." (Brooklyn Martino)

Although it gained media attention, his album experienced low first-week sales.

Young up-starter, Lil' B's, album I'm Gay (I'm Happy) dropped last week without warning and despite the amount of controversy and hooplah surrounding the Based God's release, the project only sold a surprising 1,700 units as first week sales come to a close. (VIBE)

Following its release, Lil B also provided fans an opportunity to download the project for free.
