Ray J Tag Teams W/ Floyd Mayweather's Sucker Punch Victim

R&B singer Ray J has reportedly teamed with professional boxer Victor Ortiz, who lost a fight against undefeated champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. earlier this month, for a new track called "Baddest Girl."
Details of the song's existence emerged online this week via gossip site TMZ.
Victor Ortizand Ray J have more in common than the fact they both took part in fights last weekend in Las Vegas -- they're teaming up to do a song together. TMZ has obtained a track from DJ Ian Carey, which features Ray J singing ... and a short rap verse from Ortiz. The song is called "Baddest Girl" and Ortiz comes in around the 2:02 mark. Listen and judge for yourself ... (TMZ)
Additional reporting claims Ortiz has released previous urban music earlier this year.
This isn't the first foray into rap for the boxer, releasing a single "Catwalk" under his Mr. Ortiz alias earlier this spring. As for Ortiz and his latest turn, the club-friendly track renders Ortiz's voice much deeper than how it sounds when he speaks; Ray J's hushed vocals are buried under Carey's thumping backing track. Still, the collaboration is indeed a strange one with Ray J being closely aligned with Team Mayweather. Ray J and Victor Ortiz and their respective camps have yet to address the song and there isn't any indication as to when the song was actually recorded. (RapFix)
Prior to losing to Mayweather a couple weekends ago, Ortiz's boxing career was escalating.
At 24-years old, the Kansas native has already held three different belts including the WBC World Welterweight Title. His career momentum slowed down a bit between his loss to Marcos Maidana in 2009 and his draw with Lamont Peterson in December of 2010, but his likable nature and aggressive boxing style always kept him relevant. He was given a shot at the WBC Welterweight Title and defeated Andre Berto by unanimous decision just last April. That belt now belongs to Floyd Mayweather Jr. The fight itself proved exciting for the first three rounds before ending with a controversial fourth round knock-out that may or may not have been a cheap shot from Mayweather. Aside from Ortiz, Ray J also got into a physical scuffle earlier this month against Brooklyn rapper Fabolous.
"I'ma smack you up again, fool! 'Ray J got beat up?' I'll sock that n*gga in the face, my n*gga," Ray J told DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God. "All I'm saying is if you got Fab's number, tell that n*gga to send you a picture of his face right now...I'm with the Money Team right now. I swear to God he's running from me right now...[After I hit him,] he fell back because he's a sucker -- Fab ain't no comedian. My homie saved his life when he was in LA so how dare you even speak disrespectful to me. So when I seen him, I was with Floyd [Mayweather] and 50 [Cent] and he tried to say 'Don't touch me' and I [punched] that n*gga -- If you disrespect me, don't come to the West Coast. So he in Las Vegas and he tried to disrespect me?" ("The Breakfast Club")
