Machine Gun Kelly Vows To Remain A Bad Boy, "Rules Were Meant To Be Broken"

Bad Boy Records' Machine Gun Kelly plans to live up to his record label's name after recently discussing plans to break the rules on his joint tour with Midwest rap veteran Tech N9ne.

According to MGK, Tech N9ne has a slew of road rules he plans to violate over the course of their 99-day run.

After signing on to hit the road with the Missouri MC, Kells learned about the rule book issued by Tech's Strange Music label, which lists the do's and dont's of the tour -- and accompanying fines. "It's like, no smoking weed, no everything. Anything you would think of -- no, zero. Everything that we do, no way," MGK said. Still, the "Wild Boy" rapper, who was recently arrested in Florida and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, isn't fazed. "Rules were meant to be broken, Machine Gun Kelly was meant to break them," he boasted. And what about the fines? "I don't care about money either," he said. "It doesn't even matter. I have the money. Stories on the road are priceless." (MTV)

If all goes accordingly, their tour will make hip-hop history.

Independent rap superstar Tech N9ne is scheduled to make history and shatter records in 2012. The Strange Music maven is slated to headline the "Hostile Takeover 2012" Tour, which will launch in March and includes 90 shows in 99 days, making it the longest tour in rap history. It will make stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Baltimore, Denver and Seattle, among other cities. (Press Release)

Confirming the tour's stretch, Tech recently released a statement on the history-making scheduled run.

"I started planting the seeds for this music thing to expand more than 10 years ago and to see it be recognized globally like this is a beautiful thing," says Tech N9ne. "We started Strange Music so we could make the music we wanted to make and tour like we wanted to tour. Now, to be able to make history like this is a wonderful accomplishment." (Statement)

Along with Machine Gun Kelly, Tech is also bringing along his Strang Music artists for the journey.

The tour will begin in March and last for 99 days, with 90 shows in total. Tech N9ne will headline and he'll be joined by Machine Gun Kelly, Krizz Kaliko, Mayday, Prozak, and Stevie Stone. New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, and many, many more stops will be included. (Complex)
