Grammy-winning singer Rihanna has came forward to address the hype surrounding photos of her cocking back on a marijuana blunt last weekend, proving she is unfazed by critics.
Despite the negative perception, RiRi simply played off the controversy this week.

Photos of Rihanna appearing to roll a marijuana blunt at the Coachella Music Festival over the weekend have sparked online criticism of the R&B star -- but she has some strong words for the haters. "Yikes. @Rihanna's marijuana photos from Coachella spark controversy," MTV wrote on its Twitter account on Thursday afternoon, posting shots from the singer's Instagram feed and drawing a barbed response from Rihanna herself. "@MTV Yikes... @rihanna ran out of f***s to give," she tweeted back. MTV has since deleted its tweet, though the story remains posted. "I'm crazy, and I don't pretend to be anything else," Rihanna tweeted on Tuesday, in response to fans concerned by the photos. (Billboard)

Photos of Rihanna's marijuana-laced weekend landed online a few days ago.

The 24-year-old singer posted snapshots of her hanging in the Coachella crowd, sitting on top of a bodyguard's head, rolling a cigar leaf full of marijuana, but the picture didn't go over so well with all of her fans. Plenty of sites speculated that the substance, which looked powdery and white in the tinted Instagram shot, might've been cocaine. Straight off her performance at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival over the weekend, it appears that the "Umbrella" singer took a moment to update her photo album on Facebook, posting a slew of photos from her vacation to Hawaii over the holidays. Rihanna is still riding on a high while vacationing in Hawaii. After photos of her smoking surfaced over the weekend, the Barbados babe hit up the beach on Monday, once again with a blunt in hand. She strolled alone along the sandy shore in flip-flops and a tight pink cutout dress, blowing a cloud of smoke as she relaxed in the ocean.
