Drake Beefs Up W/ Chiseled-Out Bodyguards In Nation's Capital

Young Money rapper Drake is rolling deep these days as seen in new photographs and reports of him alongside two bulky bodyguards out in Washington, D.C.

The added bodyguard look comes just a week after getting connected to a New York City club brawl with fellow singer Chris Brown.
Drake's got a new kind of beef going on. The 25-year-old rapper was spotted out in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday with a pair of bulky bodyguards by his side. One stone-faced guard walked in front of the rapper, while a second musclar man followed just behind him throughout their daytime shopping trip. Despite Drake's show of muscle, the rapper mainly tried to keep his head down. Drake kept himself covered by a hooded sweatshirt, looking up only to say the fight hasn't tainted his image. "My image is good, man," he told a TMZ cameraman. (New York Daily News)
Last weekend, reports claimed Drizzy hinted at the club fight during a Long Island concert.
With extra security in place, Drizzy alluded to the bottle-throwing incident early in his performance. "When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things," he told the crowd of 15,000. "But the only thing I gave a f**k about was that I was in New York City tonight." A couple songs later, he brought up the topic again. "You were having a good night so far, you done had a couple drinks, you done met a couple thangs, and then the ni**a in the corner start looking at you funny and you feel a motherfu**in' way about it. And then somebody going to the bathroom bumps you with their elbow and you like, 'What the f**k?' At that time in my life, there's really only one ni**a that I wanna hear," said the Young Money rapper, before Waka Flocka joined him for "Round of Applause." (Rap-Up)
Heading into the weekend, Cash Money boss Birdman defended Drake in light of club fight accusations.
"Well, to me, I think n---as got Drake twisted. A lot of n---as be playin', pitty-pattin' with Drake. I don't like that sh--, period," Birdman said to us in an exclusive interview. "Drake is one of us, so if you f---in' with Drake, you f---in' with us, period!" Birdman wasn't in attendance when the fight broke out at W.I.P. in NYC, but firmly believes the Take Care MC did nothing wrong. Drake alleges he wasn't involved in the melee, which left a number of people injured including one of Brown's bodyguards and NBA player Tony Parker. "To me, Drizzy ain't did nothin' wrong, he ain't done nothin' wrong to nobody. He just doin' great music," Bird said in defense of his artist. "He's not a reckless guy out there just wildin' out; he's a humble kid makin' great music." (MTV)
Reports claimed Drizzy faced a reckless endangerment charge over what went down.
Rihanna-loving rapper Drake -- whose nasty note to Chris Brown sparked a VIP-room melee -- is going to be arrested for throwing a bottle at his rival. Drake is expected to be charged with reckless endangerment, sources said, after a witness told cops the hip-hopper hurled the projectile during the 4:00 am local time mayhem Thursday at the SoHo hotspot W.i.P. The witness did not believe Drake hit anyone with the bottle. If Drake does not agree to surrender by early next week, cops may arrest him during tonight's concert at Jones Beach, the sources said.
