REDDING, California (July 22, 2011) -- Quasi Records is
excited to announce the release for Kelly Easter’s debut album
titled, This is Kelly Easter. Produced by Michael Joyce and
Kelly Easter, this debut record delivers a wide range of eclectic
sounds spanning from europop and electro rock, to Louisiana
bayou and hip hop. Easter and Joyce’s combined talents have
delivered a comprehensive album that builds upon the singer’s
many musical influences; including Taio Cruz, The Knife, The
Presets and Seal. While at the same time it distinctly defines
Easter’s unique sound and musical perspective.
“Music is in my blood.” explains Easter. “I’ve been waiting for this moment all of my life and
I’m ready to share my passion and love for music with the world.” Kelly is no stranger to the
music industry, his Aunt Dorothy (Morrison) is the original singer and co-writer of Oh Happy
Day and his cousin, Levi Caesar, was the lead guitarist for Prince for over a decade. Kelly’s goal
was to deliver a collection that would easily fit in today’s playlists, and he was delighted when
singles; “Dance Floor” and “Move My Body” were quickly added to rotation on The Ryan
Seacrest Show Mix 101.1.

About Kelly Easter:
Kelly Easter was raised in downtown Richmond, California. Although the neighborhood was
heavily influenced by gangster rap, Kelly developed a love for every genre of music. His passion
began at the age of eleven when his mother bought him his first drum set. Kelly continued to
master the drums and began touring all over the country at the age of 19. He has plans to begin
