Wiz Khalifa Says You Know What It Is, Cashes In W/ $900,000 Crib

Rap star Wiz Khalifa's resume may be blowing up internationally, however, the "Black & Yellow" hitmaker has not forgotten his roots by purchasing a luxury mansion outside his Pittsburgh hometown.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa loves black and yellow so much, he just put down some MAJOR roots in Steelers territory -- with a brand new $900,000 Pennsylvania pad. The sleek, high-tech, 5-bdrm, 4-bath house in Canonsburg, PA is 3,891 sq. ft. of Brazilian wood floors, modern décor and bad ass lighting. The rap giant didn't skimp on amenities either -- with stainless steel appliances, swanky granite tops, 15-ft ceilings, and a ginormous outdoor entertainment patio. Fun Fact: Khalifa's new house has sentimental value -- guy went to high school just 25 miles away. (TMZ)
Along with the crib, Wiz recently made news after publicly announcing his engagement to girlfriend/model Amber Rose.
Wiz Khalifa's love for Amber Rose has never been a secret, and on Thursday (March 1), the "Black & Yellow" MC made things just a little more official when he popped the question to his girlfriend of one year. He then shared the moment with a few million of his fans on Twitter, writing, "She Said Yes!!!" with a picture of Amber sporting an oval-cut diamond ring. "He made me the Happiest Woman in the World!!!!" Rose followed up on Twitter with the same picture attached to her message. "We Love all u Rosebuds, Rosestuds & Taylors so much!" (MTV)
Recently, the rap star said he is gunning to bank at least $100 million this year.
"Oh yeah, man, I'm going to make $100 million this year," he said. "No doubt, $100 million. The new mixtape [will] get everybody ready and get their wallets open." Wiz was clearly in high spirits last night, and although he's likely in for another big year, $100 million is a bit of a long shot. In the five years I've charted hip-hop's top earners, only 50 Cent has taken home nine figures in a single year (in 2008, thanks to a $100 million windfall from the sale of his stake in VitaminWater parent Glaceau to Coca-Cola). Only 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Diddy and Kanye West have earned nine figures in the past five years combined. (Forbes)
Last year, Khalifa earned around $11 million falling short to artists like Jay-Z, Diddy and Birdman.
Jay-Z (aka Shawn Carter) leads all comers once again with $37 million in earnings since last August. A majority of the dough is proceeds from his Blueprint 3 tour. Nipping at his heels, however, is fellow mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, who raked in a neat $35 million from his Bad Boy record label, his Sean John clothing line and his lucrative Ciroc vodka deal. West may have landed at No. 3, but he's a ways down there at "only" $16 million. The rest of the top 10 had similar years, revenue-wise, with Cash Money honcho Bryan "Birdman" Williams tying Lil Wayne for the next two spots with $15 million, showing that tha Carter isn't doing too bad, either.
