Gucci Mane Finally Freed, Invades Atlanta Strip Club

After back and forth reporting surrounding Gucci Mane, the Atlanta rapper finally became a free man last night (July 5) and made his first stop at a local Atlanta strip club.

Gucci announced his freedom and "Welcome Home" party on Twitter Tuesday night.
"My Welcome Home Party 2nite at Club Onyx," he tweeted referring to Atlanta's adult night club.

Over the weekend, details of an alleged jail release hit the Internet.
Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane is believed to have been released from prison today. Gucci had been in prison since pushing a woman out of a moving vehicle in April, and was charged with battery, a misdemeanor and violating his probation. A couple months ago, reports claimed he would be freed at the end of June.
RumorFix has learned exclusively that rapper Gucci Mane will be out of jail by the end of June -- that 15 months earlier than anyone expected. Gucci, who's real name is Radric Davis, appeared in a Fulton County jail Monday afternoon and in less than an hour, he got the best news of his life. The Atlanta-based star, who has been on probation since October 2005, will end his probation by the end of June and he'll be out of jail, Gucci's attorney Mark Issa tells RumorFix. It had been recommended that the "Lemonade" lyricist be sentenced to 17 months in prison for the probation violation, but his attorneys were able to convince the judge to set him free after just 45 days. Despite the initial speculation, Gucci Mane's release had been delayed until last night.
Amid erroneous reports that beleaguered southern rap star Gucci Mane has been freed from prison this holiday weekend, records show that the rapper is still behind bars although he will be released later this week. (Rapfix)
