Cash Money Records' Birdman reportedly cashed in on a million dollar bet following undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr.'s win last night (September 17) in Las Vegas.
Breaking the news publicly, Birdman boasted his win on Twitter.
"Got a mill. On mayweather.blievetht.YMCMB," he tweeted September 17th.
"YMCMB.BORN 2 Win.Milly Nigga. We Tha Busine$$" (Birdman's Twitter)Rap star 50 Cent, who is a close Mayweather friend, also hyped up last night's win on Twitter.

Not that anyone was expecting an apology, but Floyd Mayweather Jr. didn't give one for the way he ended his world welterweight title victory over Victor Ortiz on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. "What goes around, comes around," Mayweather Jr. said in celebration of his fourth-round knockout. "You wanted a knockout, that's what I gave you." Questions of sportsmanship, boxing ground rules and fairness were raised from the conclusion of the bout, which was set up by Ortiz delivering a vicious head butt to Mayweather's mouth in the closing seconds of the fourth. (Los Angeles Times)Despite winning a million dollar Super Bowl bet earlier this year, Birdman lost two million during last June's NBA Finals.
When you bet big, there's a possibility that you'll lose big, which is a lesson that Birdman learned last night (June 12).The Cash Money millionaire lost $2 million on the NBA Championship game for betting that the Miami Heat would be the victors over the Dallas Mavericks. For the first time in franchise history, the Dallas Mavericks won the NBA Championship beating the Heat 105-95 in Game Six. The victory wasn't just good for the team, television ratings also reached the highest for a Game Six in 11 years. (The Boom Box)
