The 10 Hottest Hip Hop Honeys Of All Time

Happy Friday everyone!
We now interrupt our daily offering of thought provoking content to deliver a new list of “The Tens” that caters specifically to our male demographic. Over the past fifteen years, the rise of the video vixen in hip-hop has given us men something to look at with curves that makes our mouths curve into a smile. Of course, the urban model has been bastardized by the rise of Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram “models” but there are those ladies that we will always salute for being the baddest of them all. With that, here is TheWellVersed’s list of the top 10 hottest hip hop honeys of all time with some video to refresh your memory.

Melyssa Ford

Where You May Know Her From: For many, Melyssa Ford is the video vixen. The Canadian’s curves that seem to be inspired by Jessica Rabbit had many men wheezing whenever she appeared on the screen. You likely remember her in Jadakiss’ “Knock Yourself Out” or Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin.” Her image graced many men’s magazines and she became a staple in urban beauty.
Where She Is Today: After leaving the music video scene in 2004, Ford indulged in an acting career and has also participated in multiple speaking engagements regarding women empowering themselves and the plight of the video vixen. More than just a pretty face? If her major in forensic psychology didn’t give that away, catch her in an interview (or read one of her insightful columns) and be subjected to the true definition of beauty and brains. She has a funny bone too.

Angel Lola Luv (Now Known As Lola Monroe)

Where You May Know Her From: This Ethiopian and Trinidadian beauty with abnorbal proportions first caught our eye in the Trey Songz “Wonder Woman” video. Since then, she has been featured in numerous magazine spreads and has been named XXL Eye Candy of the Year.
Where She Is Today: Rather than be in rapper’s videos, Lola Monroe is now making her own videos as an emcee in Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang crew. She’s expected to be featured heavily on the upcoming Taylor Gang compilation.

Dollicia Bryan

Where You May Know Her From: She was Drake’s arm candy late last year but you may have seen her and those bedroom eyes in videos for Ja Rule’s “Body” and Fabolous feat. NeYo “You Make Me Better.” She’s also been named Eye Candy of the Year in XXL and might best be known as the girl that got into it with Superhead on Jamie Foxx’s Foxxhole radio show.
Where She Is Today: She can still be seen in magazine spreads but is also a SMOOTH magazine columnist.

GLORIA VELEZ

Where You May Know Her From: The mother of Aaron Hall’s child was first seen by many on Luke’s Freak Show before gracing the small screen in videos including Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin.” The Puerto Rican crossed over heavy and was in mainstream magazines such as Maxim to go along with spreads in KING and other urban mags.
Where She Is Today: While trying her hand in the hip-hop game as an emcee by the name of “Glory,” Velez also appeared in Playboy and is currently taking care of her two children.

Liris Crosse

Where You May Know Her From: Like Melyssa Ford, Liris Cross is one of the original video vixen’s. The chocolate brown sista has been in videos for everyone from 98 Degrees to Jay-Z and in just about every men’s magazine you can think of. You probably also caught her giving Morris Chestnutt the “why am I getting married?” blues as she shook what her mama gave her in The Best Man.
Where She Is Today: Liris is still modeling and has done a bit of acting. The film Abidjan saw her in a starring role and garnered seven awards on the film festival circuit. You can also capture her hitting the catwalk for BET’s Rip The Runway and representing for the thick women across the world in ads for Lane Bryant.
