Harvey Comics For Mishka 2012 Lookbook
Earlier this year, we were ecstatic to learn that we would have the opportunity to work with the Harvey Comics brand. Founded over 70 years ago by publisher Alfred Harvey and owned by Classic Media, one of the world's largest independent entertainment companies, the Harvey Comics library includes some of the most enduring characters, not only of the medium, but of American pop culture. We were elated to pay tribute those characters by using them as the basis for the entire Mishka x Harvey Comics Collection. But with the second delivery of Fall dropping - including new shirts, jackets, hats, sweaters, etc - we also wanted to thank them all by hooking them up with some gear from our Fall 2012 Collection.
Luckily for us, they all loved the clothes and, well... without further adieu, here’s the Harvey Comics for Mishka Fall 2012 Lookbook starring none other than Casper The Friendly Ghost, Richie Rich, Spooky, The Ghostly Trio, Hot Stuff The Little Devil, Baby Huey, and Wendy The Good Little Witch. These beloved icons can be seen sporting the very best of our Fall Collection, decked out in everything from Richie’s khaki’s + button-up country club ready outfit, to The Ghostly Trio’s imposing camo uniforms. Click ahead to the Lookbook to see all your favorite things in one place, and go to our online or retail locations to get the second delivery of our Fall Collection!

Fall 2012 Second Delivery Now Available!
As I mentioned above in the post about Harvey, the entirety of our Fall 2012 collection is now available in stores and online. Any items you saw in our lookbook and thought "damn, that's a darn fresh piece of clothing!" but then weren't able to find anywhere, the wait is over.
This isn't some dinky little addendum either: this is a full batch of everything from jackets to hats, shirts and sweaters, and everything in between. So hop on over to a store and go wild: fall is here!

Our New Los Angeles Store Is Open
Our New LA Location is Officially Open [Pics + Video]
Last month we hosted a balls-to-the-wall, totally ridiculous, three day banger of a party at our new Los Angeles location (128 South La Brea) to celebrate its opening. Many of you were there, and most of you made it out alive. For those of you that weren't lucky enough to make it, you should most certainly stop by next time you're in LA. It's got the same excellent flavor as our other stores, with original art by L'Amour Supreme & Skinner.
Also, you should definitely take a look at the various recaps of the party, whether they be these photos by Rae Threat (some of which you see above), a video by Ryan Pardeiro, or a series of interviews with Action Bronson by Hypetrak. It's got Bronson, Riff Raff, DJ Muggs, Kid Sister, Wavves, and more!

Download Bruxa's Victimeyez LP!
Summon up your best dance moves - literally, please, with rituals and incantations - for a new release on Мишка Records, the debut album Victimeyez from Portland witch-step trio Bruxa. Three minds, connected by spirit and magic, inhabiting a singular sonic vessel. Bruxa is Derek Stilwell, SaintMichaelLorenzo, and Bianca Radd, and together they make dark dance music that flits between supernatural realms, synthesizing Stilwell and SaintMichael's hip-hop production experience with the muse influence of the bewitching Radd.
Releasing their debut EP Eye On Everybody last year on Sweating Tapes, Bruxa fully embraced the possibilities of a post-witch house landscape, crafting occult and aggressive beats that were nonetheless eminently danceable. Victimeyez finds them refining that formula to a sharp point, whether it be on the roiling "Human Minds", moombahton influenced "PaperWeight Pt. 1", or foreboding cypher "Trill Witch." Victimeyez is available for download now through Мишка Records, and will also see a cassette release on Sweating Tapes in October.

Brand New Keep Watch Hoodies!
Surprise, we got some new new for you! We wouldn't want to let you slip into the weekend without the thought of some fresh products on your mind, so here's a triple stack of hooded sweatshirts - simple, classic, and ready to join your wardrobe right now. After all: there's always more room for the Keep Watch eyeball.
First up we've got two pullovers, in black and heather, perfect for both working out, working your game on the street, or working on the international space station. Can you wear hoodies in space? I'm gonna say yes. The third item has another dash of flavor to it, adding a Keep Watch allover lining on the hood of a zip-up. Available now in-store and online.

Enter the Ghost Cave!
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "What is the Ghost Cave?!"... and I'll look down and whisper "I have no idea." But that doesn't mean it's not a rill rill cool shirt that you should probably own NOW. Designed by L'Amour Supreme, the Ghost Cave Tee is as mysterious as it is stylish. Has L'Amour perhaps had a run in with an underground rock formation that contains - among other things - ectoplasmic beings? Is he himself a denizen of this spooky grotto?
I don't know, and the presence of that turtlenecked skeletal gentleman (or gentlelady? It's an ambiguous haircut...) doesn't exactly make things any clearer. But little to none of that matters. The point is, it's a nice looking tee shirt. Plus, when you wear it, people will ask you what it is and you can be all like "you don't know about the Ghost Cave??" and they'll feel all inferior to you. Your welcome for the date/new friend/sycophant I just got you.

Aaron Cohen In-Store, Spet 28th @ 350 Broadway
Friday September 28th, Aaron Cohen @ 350 Broadway
In less than two weeks we'll be releasing Murk, the new mixtape from Queens rapper Aaron Cohen. This bearded fellow (we do have a history with bearded rappers, come to think of it...) has been making waves on the Bloglin and elsewhere over the past couple months with his steady stream of singles and videos (like "Feminist" and "Hellen Keller").
To celebrate the release, we're having one of our patented In-Store performances at the 350 Broadway location. Remember though, these things fill up fast, so make sure to get there nice and early to see Aaron Cohen up close and personal.
