Why can’t Birdman just Free Weezy and let him be. According to TMZ reports Birdman is upset that Tidal released Lil Wayne’s Free Weezy Album, in what Birdman called an “attempt to save the failing streaming service.” Birdman argues that according to the contract between Weezy and Cash Money, all licenses and rights to release any album/songs lies with the label Cash Money and Jay Z defied that when he allowed Weezy (who is part owner since June) to release his album with Tidal. This move might end up costing Jay Z and Lil Wayne. Birdman is suing Jay Z for $50 million.
