Jadakiss Answers Kanye West's Calls, "I'm Kind Of A Big Deal In This Music Industry!"

The LOX's Jadakiss has confirmed the hype over a recent studio session photo of him and Kanye West, revealing what exactly is going down with Yeezy these days.

While still in their early stages, Kiss said fans can expect them to grind out some fresh music together.
"It's just about the elite forces in the industry linking up with each other, trying to capture a certain sound," Kiss explained, referring to their hook-up. "I loved that night. That was a timeless night in hip-hop and my life. ... I think some huge things are going to come out of that room. 'Ye reached out. I ain't just fallin' through. I mean something here. I'm kind of a big deal in this music industry!" (Sucker Free)
In early April, Jada was spotted in a photo alongside West, Fat Joe, DJ Khaled and other rap elite.
Remember the first edition of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Friday series that featured, among others, joints like "Lord Lord Lord" and "Christian Dior Denim Flow"? Well, it looks like more might be on the way in addition the G.O.O.D. Music albums leaks "Mercy." As you can see in the photos above and below this text, Yeezy hit the studio with Busta Rhymes, Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def), Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, and Jadakiss. Apparently producers Hit-Boy and The Legendary Traxster were there, too. (Complex)
Kiss also released his new DJ Drama-hosted Consignment mixtape today (April 27).
The self-proclaimed Black Babe Ruth is back with another gem to serve the streets on his latest mixtape, Consignment. The mixtape features a star-studded lineup including appearances by French Montana, Styles P, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Meek Mill and more as well as an interview between 'Kiss and XXL's Shaheem Reid (XXL Mag)
Recently, rap newcomer Future hit up SOHH and gave Jada props for being a successful underrated rapper.
"I think Jada," Future told SOHH when asked who he feels is an underrated rap veteran. "Yeah, Jadakiss. When you listen to rappers, they don't really go to Jadakiss. They limit him and think he's only supposed to have the hardest street songs. But he really has some of the best lyrics. You've got to have that longevity. You got to have that long run in you. That's what creates a career. At the end of the day, you want to make sure you have longevity and a good career rather than be a fly-by-night artist." (SOHH)
