Soulja Boy Clears The Air On $55 Mil Jet Rumors

Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em has cleared the air on July rumors claming he ponied up over $50 million on a luxury private jet for his 21st birthday.
According to Soulja, the private jet reports were nothing more than gossip.
"[Laughs] Basically, it was just a rumor. It was just showing you how the media exaggerates on some stories. It was funny to me.They do their thing. Everybody makes mistakes. I didn't get a private plane. I can if I want to! Sh*t, I'm not though. I got stuff that I'm trying to do first." (VIBE)
In late July, the rapper's representative Greg Miller flatly denied the rumors.
In a statement released on Friday, July 29, Greg Miller said, "The elaborate rumors circulating about Soulja Boy purchasing a jet for his 21st birthday are grossly over exaggerated." The spokesman additionally stressed that the rumors "are not true". (Ace Showbiz)
Details of the huge birthday treat hit the Internet July 29th.
For our 21st birthday, we bought ourselves a 40. For Soulja Boy's 21st birthday, he decided to treat himself to a $55 million dollar jet. Why? Because he's worth it. To be honest, we're seriously surprised that Soulja has that kinda cash, but then again, he did write 'Donk'. His management team, who for some reason didn't stop him said that the young rapper purchased a G5 jet earlier in the week. (The Fab Life)
Although the jet itself was said to have cost $35 million, reports suggested Soulja Boy had spent additional money to deck it out.
He bought the G5 jet for $35 million. He then spent an additional $20 million to customize the jet with 12 custom Italian leather seats, 4 liquor bars, flat screen TVs, Brazilian hardwood cabinets and a special travertine tiled floor. It was also said that Soulja replaced the in-flight lavatory with a giant, luxurious bathroom. The pimping out was not only done for the inside of the jet, but also for its outside appearance. The "Pretty Boy Swag" rapper allegedly gave his jet a custom paint job to include his logo. (Ace Showbiz)
