Twista Dissects Kanye West/Consequence Beef, "I've Seen It Happen W/ Remy Ma & Fat Joe"

G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Twista has weighed in on the current war of words from rapper Consequence to Grammy-winning artist Kanye West and why it is a lose-lose situation for all parties involved.

Twista said the ex-duo's feud should have never become public.

"It's really an unfortunate situation," Twista said in an interview. "I wish those brothers could have really sat down and talked before that type of stuff goes public, 'cause it's really an in-house type of situation. You see it happen in sports all the time - in the locker, they say what happens stays in the locker room. I feel like that's something they could have talked it out about, because it's happened before. I've seen it happen with Remy Ma and Fat Joe. The crews got to start trying to keep they business like that in-house, and hash sh*t out so that everybody won't think that we just all about getting to tour with each other and not being able to work our business out. There's money out here for all of us. We shouldn't have to go at each other here like that, especially when we're all here together." (WGCI)

A few days ago, fellow Chicago rapper Rhymefest placed his two cents in the feud.

"But as far as Kanye and his real homies notice that none of the guys he started with from Chicago talk sh*t about him. None of us.," Fest tweeted July 30th.

"Chicago Cats understand playing your position and organizational structure. We know that every man is responsible for his/her actions." (Rhymefest's Twitter)

Last week, Cons directly responded to G.O.O.D. Music's Pusha T's comments about him not holding relevance.

"That guy said, 'He's an outsider and I'm an insider,'" Cons said referring to Pusha. "Let me tell you why Kanye West has never said anything to him regarding our situation. He's never said anything to him regarding our situation because he's a worker. He's a worker! He was jet fuel for Pharrell Williams, and he's going to be jet fuel for Kanye West. He's a live body." Recently, Terror Squad leader Fat Joe said he could never forgive ex-member Remy Ma after their public fallout in the mid-2000's.

"I don't keep in contact with Remy," Joe revealed in an interview. "Me and Remy, we fell out. All I did for that girl was help her; make her rich; took her from the projects, single parent mom; put her on hit records; [and she] toured across the world with us. She was down with us, had a different car for every day of the week. When her album came out and it didn't do as good as she anticipated, she wanted to blame somebody. See, me, I don't run away. During my successes or my failures, I put it on me. You can't find an interview where I'm standing there talking about, 'Yo, this executive' [...] some people don't understand it's not an overnight success for everybody. It's a grind. It's happened for me. I make a great living -- a lot of artists make a great living. But, she, you know, she was getting real disrespectful with me and real disrespectful towards my family on the radio. I could never forgive Remy Martin. She really hurt my feelings." (XXL Mag)
