Mixtape Release Dates: Sir Michael Rocks, B.o.B., Marcus Manchild, Asher Roth

Mixtape Release Dates: Sir Michael Rocks, B.o.B., Marcus Manchild, Asher Roth
With a whole lot of mixtapes to look forward to on the horizon, this week brings new Houston rap from Marcus Manchild and 1/2 of the Cool Kids, Sir Michael Rocks, to the forefront.

In true random fashion, this weekend delivered Chevy Woods' "The Cookout" featuring Wiz Khalifa as the Co-pilot. Young Buck's long-awaited "Bond Money" was rumored to drop on Sunday, but that never happened. On the release-side, Woods has been hovering around Hip Hop as the next in line from the Taylor Gang. We thought that Mac Miller was of the Taylor Gang kin. However, Mac Mill is not Taylor Gang, he's from Most Dope (thanks for the clarification, Artie). Earlier on, Chevy Woods dropped the track "Cookout" with Wiz Khalifa. Now, the whole tape is out and the revolution can begin. As for Young Buck, this tape was a long time coming. The most recent cut that leaked prior was "Millionaire" featuring MMG's songbird Masspike Miles.

This week (today to be exact), Marcus Manchild releases "PreSeason Vol. 2." The Houston spitter caused some buzz in the summer with the song "A Million" featuring Big K.R.I.T. and Travis Porter. Then he dropped "Big Boi Sh*t" with Killa Kyleon and Bulu. Now the Manchild has a whole mixtape to help him out on his Smokers Club Tour alongside Method Man, Big K.R.I.T., Curren$y and others.

Further up on the map, Sir Michael Rocks (aka Mikey Rocks) of the Cool Kids comes with "Premier Politics." Mikey dropped the track "I Can't Go" last week and since then the anticipation has built for this project. In limbo news, B.o.B. released a freestyle over The Throne's "Welcome to the Jungle." While there's no title or release date, the freestyle is supposed to be on B.o.B.'s upcoming mixtape. Hurry up, Bobby Ray! Another mixtape that needs a fast forward is Asher Roth's "Paps & Jazz." Roth recently leaked a track called "Goodbye," but no word where that one is going.
