Renowned Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace recently opened up about her respect for the late Notorious B.I.G. and just how much love he had for the iconic brand.
While B.I.G. loved boasting and name-dropping Versace in his raps, Donatella admits her respect for the music mogul was mutual.

"I think Biggie was amazing. He came to my shows in Paris many times, and we'd see each other often. He always used to talk so nicely about my family. I think he was so smart, so intelligent. He had such a mind. So I loved what he was doing and how he was giving people a way to know about Versace--I do think he was giving people a way to know about Versace--I do think a lot of people started to know about Versace because of him." Young Money's Nicki Minaj previously spoke on B.I.G. and hip-hop's love for the luxury clothing line.

"We can remember Biggie Smalls talking about Versace," Nicki, dressed in a multicolor beaded pantsuit topped with a palm-frond accented wig, told us about the late Bad Boy MC. "It's something that as a little girl, growing up in hip-hop, you never really think you'll get a chance to -- I never thought I'd get to model for Versace, you know what I mean?" (MTV)

On Biggie's "One More Chance" remix, the late rap mogul name drops Versace.

Earlier this year, Hollywood movie star Gwyneth Patrow admitted Notorious B.I.G. was one of her all-time favorites.
