According to reports, Gucci's family did not rush to post his bail following his arrest.

An attorney for the rapper said his client plans to plead not guilty.

Rapper Gucci Mane's lawyer is denying accusations that the musician pushed a woman out of his Hummer as he drove down a suburban Atlanta street in January. Attorney Ashutosh Joshi said Tuesday the artist intends to plead not guilty. DeKalb County prosecutors on Tuesday announced formal charges of battery, reckless conduct and disorderly conduct against the rapper, also known as Radric Delantic Davis, 31. DeKalb Solicitor-General Sherry Boston said the rapper's conduct "shows a wilful disregard for a woman's personal safety." Last week reports claimed Gucci was still behind bars despite having a relatively low bail set.

Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane remains in the DeKalb County jail almost a week after a woman accused him of shoving her from a moving vehicle, DeKalb police confirmed. Authorities could not confirm the amount of the rapper's bail. The musician, born Radric Davis, was jailed on misdemeanor battery charges, according to a press release from DeKalb County Sheriff Thomas Brown.
