Webbie Concert In St. Louis Ends In Shooting, Club Loses Liquor License

It's a savage life, as a security guard was shot early this week in the 'Lou after a Webbie concert.
Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Webbie performed at East St. Louis, Illinois' Blackmon's Plaza on April 3.

During the performance from the Trill Fam member, a fight in the crowd broke out, as well as a reported two altercations outside the club. After shots were fired, a security guard was struck with a bullet. That guard is presently recovering after a hospitalization.

After the concert ended abruptly, East St. Louis Mayor Alvin L. Parks reportedly suspended the club's license to serve alcohol, according to the Belleville News-Democrat.
Webbie has yet to speak publicly on the matter. The onetime Asylum Records star last released All Or Nothing, with Trill Fam last year.
