MMG's Meek Mill Is Amped That 'T.I. Back', "[I'll] Have Him Get Out To The Hottest Song Of The Year"

It looks like the fans aren't the only ones excited about T.I.'s jail release this week as Maybach Music Group's Meek Mill has revealed plans to recruit the "King of the South" for a collaboration.
According to Meek, he has sat on his "I'ma Boss" remix for Tip.
"If I hold the 'I'ma Boss' remix long enough I might throw Tip on that, have him get out to the hottest song of the year," Meek said in an interview. "He ain't have no problem looking out for me and I don't have no problem doing it for him." In 2008, rumors sprung up that T.I. had signed Meek to his label Grand Hustle, but the co-sign never amounted to an ink stain. Although it's unclear as to why the deal never materialized, Meek says he still salutes the Atlanta giant. "I talked to Tip even when I was with Maybach, he already know my mind frame because me and Tip ended up becoming good friends later on down the line just hanging out with each other." (VIBE)
Yesterday, T.I. was officially released from an Arkansas jail after serving time for a probation violation.
Atlanta-based rapper T.I. has been released one month early from a federal prison, where he was serving a weapons violation sentence. Bureau of Prisons spokesman Chris Burke said the artist, whose real name is Clifford Harris, was released at 7:29 a.m. Central time from the Forrest City low-security prison in Arkansas. (ABC News)
The rapper is now finishing out his 11-month sentence in a halfway house.
Rapper T.I., real name Clifford Harris Jr., was released from prison Wednesday a month early, bound for a halfway house in his home state of Georgia from a low-security federal prison in Arkansas where he'd been held after violating federal probation. "Feels great to be back where I belong ... Back in the arms of those who need me the most," Tip said Wednesday morning on Twitter, shortly after leaving federal prison in Arkansas. He is currently in the middle of filming a ten episode VH1 reality series slated to premiere December 5th.
"Viewers have always connected with T.I. and we are definitely thrilled to show the next chapter of this incredible artist's riveting life with this new series," Jeff Olde, VH1's executive vice president of original programming and production, said in a statement Wednesday. "T.I is such a multi-talented artist and actor, and though he has had some setbacks, there is no doubt he will use his considerable talents to get back on top of both the music and film business."
