Days after the unexpected passing of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, West Coast hip-hop newcomer Kreayshawn has shared some thoughts on his legacy and ultimate impact on her career.

Kreay ultimately credits Jobs for helping inspiring her digital online movement.

"RIP Steve Jobs," said Kreayshawn. "If it wasn't for him me and alot of artists wouldn't have the digital proficiency that we do today. Buying my first MacBook was a huge change in my life for me and it also helped me make sense of all the arts that I can accomplish on one piece of technology created a man named Steve Jobs." Not alone in sharing condolences, Young Money's Nicki Minaj sent her well wishes to the late Jobs this week.

Producer Swizz Beatz also reflected on Jobs' legacy.

His passing made global headlines late Wednesday (October 5) evening.

Apple Inc co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs, counted among the greatest American CEOs of his generation, died on Wednesday at the age of 56, after a years-long and highly public battle with cancer and other health issues. Shortly after the news broke, Apple released a statement on the man responsible for its iPod, iPhone and iPad products.
