"Rick Ross Is Winning Right Now, He's Always Working"

Rap producer Aone recently talked about the studio grind Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross has undergone as of late and confirmed working with the "Boss" on his upcoming solo album.
Telling fans to get ready for Ricky Rozay's God Forgives, I Don't, Aone said the Miami emcee is unstoppable.
"Ross is winning right now. I did a couple of joints for the album, but Ross, he's always working," Aone explained. "He's in the studio; he's recording over 200 tracks, so you never know. We did over six records already featuring different people. But Ross, he likes to take his time like a masterpiece. He got a bunch of work, so when it's time, we gonna know. But we still working right now. I'm getting back in the studio, and we doing more stuff. God Forgives, I Don't: It's coming; get ready." (MTV)
Recently, fellow producer Pharrell Williams said Ross is on top of hip-hop.
Pharrell names Rick Ross as one of hip-hop's current MVPs. "The way Ross is killing it right now. It's been a minute since the last time we had somebody like him to come out and do what he's doing or like a Wayne," Pharrell tells VIBE. "It's just completely authentic. [Ross] knows what he wants to do --knows his sound, has a style, has a definitive position, has a perspective on the game and what he adds to it and how he's gonna change it," he continues. "So music is in a really, really good place now and I'm watching it. I'm in the studio and everything is changing." (VIBE)
R&B veteran Mary J. Blige revealed her involvement on Rozay's new LP earlier this week.
"I did a crazy, crazy record with Rick," MJB told XXL. "Rick is fly. He picks the best beats man. That guy is amazing with that...[We recorded in] a private studio that one of our friends, he was really close to Michael Jackson, he let us use it -- It's actually Marvin Gaye's studio. It [has] murals of Michael Jackson all over the [walls], and Marvin Gaye. That was the last place [Michael] actually worked at before he passed. It's such a good vibe...Rick Ross is beautiful -- I just love him. So much respect to Rick Ross; he's the truth. [He's] such a gentleman [and] open and honest. [He's] super talented and a G. He's amazing; a really good person, and a lot of fun." (XXL Mag)
In January, the "Boss" announced plans to drop God Forgives, I Don't as the follow-up to 2010's Teflon Don.
"I'm in Swisher Studios right now working on my new project," Ross told Power 105.1 radio hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee. "50 percent of the album [is] already [done]. This is the first time I'm revealing it, but the name of the album is God Forgives, I Don't...One of the records that I excluded off the [Ashes To Ashes] mixtape was 'Made Men' featuring the homie Drake. I wanted to put some final touches on it and I wanted to give you the opportunity to bless the world with that." (Power 105.1)
