Rihanna Responds To Royce Da 5'9's BET Cypher Name Drop

Grammy-winning singer Rihanna has responded back to Slaughterhouse's Royce Da 5'9 after making the reference "Hi Rihanna" multiple times during his BET

Hip-Hop Awards cypher this week.
Writing on Twitter, RiRi simply acknowledged the rapper's name drops.
"Hi @Royceda59," she tweeted late Wednesday (October 12). (Rihanna's Twitter)
Playing along, Royce swiftly responded back to RiRi's remark.
"*Wave* RT @rihanna: Hi @Royceda59," he tweeted back in response. (Royce Da 5'9's Twitter)
Royce appeared on BET's "106 & Park" show this week to clarify the Rihanna reference.
"Me and [Eminem] were performing at the V Festival [in England] and she was coming out to perform with us," Royce explained. "She seen me and came up to me. Like, I'm just a Detroit guy. Everybody's treating me like I'm famous now but I'm still regular. So she came up to me and told me that she liked one of my songs. So I felt like if she told me that again, we go together. It has to happen. So I express myself through my music and I just thought it was a line I was going to say. I didn't know if she was going to hear it but its become this. Trending for 20 hours or whatever." ("106 & Park")
Outside of the RiRi mentions, Eminem talked about his overall impression of the cypher this week.
"Everybody did a really good job, and we did our rhymes over and over and over until everybody started forgetting them," Eminem explained. "The best thing about doing a cypher for me--and I'm sure for everyone else--is just knowing the caliber that everybody rhymes at. You know everybody's gonna f*ckin' bring it." (BET)
