Police say Felicia "Snoop" Pearson, who played a killer of the same name on the hit television series, is one of those arrested, but declined to say what charges she faces. Additional reporting claims the drug raid was part of a five-month investigation.
Felicia "Snoop" Pearson of "The Wire" was arrested Thursday morning at her downtown Baltimore apartment, allegedly in connection with a large-scale heroin and marijuana ring. A five-month investigation led to raids in west and east Baltimore yielding more than 60 suspects believed to be linked to the crime operation, the Baltimore Sun reported. Pearson was arrested on a state warrant, though local and federal authorities were also involved in the raids. (Los Angeles Times)
