Big Boi, DJ Drama, Snoop Dogg & More React To Dick Clark's Death

Rap stars Big Boi, Snoop Dogg, DJ Drama and more have come forward to pay respect and share their thoughts on today's untimely passing of television legend Dick Clark.
OutKast's Big Boi tweeted a photo of himself, Andre 3000 and Clark posed together.

West Coast rap veteran Snoop Dogg sent his condolences to Clark.

Atlanta's DJ Drama labeled Clark an ideal example of radio and television leadership.

BET's "106 & Park" co-host Rocsi Diaz paid homage to the late entertainer.

Music mogul Russell Simmons spoke on Clark's ability to touch all ethnic groups.

Hip-hop producer 9th Wonder reflected on Clark's past works.

According to reports, Clark suffered a fatal heart attack Wednesday morning.

Dick Clark -- famed TV producer and "New Year's Rockin' Eve" host -- died from a massive heart attack this morning ... TMZ has learned. Clark's rep tells TMZ, the TV icon had been in St. John's hospital in L.A. after undergoing an outpatient procedure last night. Clark suffered the "massive" heart attack following the procedure. The legendary television personality's run on the small screen dates back over five decades.

Clark had a stroke in 2004, and stepped down from New Year's Rockin' Eve, which he launched in 1972. Ryan Seacrest took over hosting duties for the special shortly thereafter. In addition to New Year's Rockin' Eve, he hosted such shows as American Bandstand, the gameshow Pyramid and TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes. Among his many honors are four Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award and inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and more. (Us Magazine)
