Birdman Puts Soulja Boy On Blast, "I Never Tried To Sign Soulja"

Writing on his Twitter page, Baby denied trying to ink Soulja Boy.

Yesterday, Soulja Boy said Interscope Records was holding up the deal.

"I met with Baby and Slim down in Miami," Soulja said in an interview. "He's trying to get me to come over to Cash Money...I still got paperwork with Interscope Records, so I'm just trying to figure out what I'ma do. I got a lot of great options on the table -- I've been a fan of Cash Money since I was young. I've been listening to Birdman's music since I was growing up. I would have never thought." (Rap-Up)

Last week, Soulja Boy broke the news of Baby's alleged interest in him.

"If I could get anybody, I would have probably put Lil Wayne on my mixtape. Me and Wayne, man. I talk to him, but I'm cool with Birdman. When I'm in Miami I be with Birdman. He's trying to get me to come over to Cash Money. I'm cool with Birdman. I feel like if I drop my mixtape and get Wayne on it, I'd really have the juice then [Laughs]. It is a possibility. When I was down in Miami for a couple of weeks recording with Sean Kingston, Birdman reached out to me. He said 'come and have a meeting with me' and he told me 'yo man you'd go perfect with everything we got going on. Whatever you want.
