Details of what went down landed online last Thursday (June 30).
The Game's new music video shoot with Chris Brown got gangsta -- for real -- when a producer was held up at gunpoint ... losing more than $12,000 in cash and jewelry ... TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us the armed robbery went down Tuesday in South Los Angeles -- and the producer, Mars, was sitting in his car with another person when 2 black male suspects walked up, pulled out a gun and demanded the goods. They made off in a gray Nissan Altima. (TMZ)
Despite being on-set, Game and Chris Brown did not witness the robbery.
According to sources on the music video shoot say Mars had walked about a block away from the set when the incident occurred. The suspects were said to have taken Mars' jewelry and wallet which contained a few thousand dollars. Chris Brown and The Game were on set at the time of the robbery, but were not near Mars when the robbery took place. A rep for Game said the set security guards were present on set, but no one at the shoot witnessed the incident. (FOX News)
A day prior, Game tweeted about the music video but did not mention the robbery.
"Just wrapped the "Pot Of Gold" video shoot & @chrisbrown killed that sh*t !!! #CincinnatiHatOff to this lil n!gga a.k.a. #TalentedAsF*ck," he tweeted June 29th. (Game's Twitter)
