Weezy isn't satisfied with the beats supplied to him for his oft-delayed album.

Lil Wayne is still assembling his upcoming album Tha Carter IV, releasing on August 29th. But he’s having trouble finding worthy instrumentals. Speaking with XXL Magazine, the Young Money captain explained that he’s been getting subpar beats and that producers need to hone their craft.

“These niggas’ beats been sucking. I’m putting it out there: you producing, what ya’ll doing? Get right, man. Step it up,” he said. ‘This is coming from a rapper. One of the best rappers. I ain’t saying I’m the best no more, because these niggas is too good these days. I got old. But damn, y’all niggas’ beats is terrible! [Chad Ochocinco walks into the room] These niggas’ beats sound like Ochocino made them.”

So far, Weezy has released a few cuts from TC4 including “6 Foot 7 Foot,” produced by Bangladesh, and “How to Love,” produced by Detail.
