G-Unit's Precious Paris Drops "From Paris W/ Love" Mixtape, 50 Cent Boards Project

G-Unit's latest signee Precious Paris is out to prove she is ready to take the hip-hop game by storm, releasing her much talked about From Paris with Love mixtape this week.

On the project, fans are treated to just over ten records with features ranging from 50 Cent to fellow Unit affiliate Kidd Kidd.

The female rapper has also taken to Twitter to promote the new project.

"Lol I'm not worried @Swiss_Hussle: #NF @PRECIOUSPARIS, but if that #FromParisWithLove mixtape is whack,, ima unfollow her.. lol #Rns doe"," she tweeted February 29th.

Recently, Paris spoke on not initially getting a record deal offer from 50.

"He did not sign me right away, however I did not let that get me down, I stayed in the studio even the times when I didn't hear from him anymore. Something in the back of my head always told me that I would eventually be going to be G-Unit's first lady. I prayed on it and then one day out the blue he gave me a call. ... It was a few years later but in the meantime he would call me to do little freelance stuff, like the hook on TOS. I didn't get credit and I did another song with him and LL Cool J "Heartbeat." I sang the hook on that. Yeah, I sing!" (VIBE)

Last month, the New York rapper discussed her rap image and how she views herself as an emcee.

Paris was signed to 50 Cent's record label and her first album will be released on Feb. 29. Her first video with 50 Cent got over 2 million views on YouTube. "I have a long way to go," she admitted. "I want to be everywhere." "I still want to be me -- but I want to have a hard time being me," she joked. Her mentor 50 Cent heaped praise on his newest protege. "Paris is amazing! She reflects how a strong passion for art can surpass adversity," he said. Her songs run the gamut of the genre. She pens explicit club anthems along with gritty, emotional tunes. "This is my lifestyle. I wear many hats," she said. She said whenever she listens to the track "No More," which chronicles her painful childhood, she is overcome with emotions.
