Speaking from the music video set, Kreay hinted at what the visual would offer fans.
"Hey everyone, it's Kreayshawn and I'm here, on set, video set might I add and it's with me and 2 Chainz," Kreay said in the footage. "It's going to be murderous. I'll tell you what. We're doing all kinds of crazy things like eating people, killing people. ... I decided to cook for 2 Chainz. I got a little bit of liver here for him. We're eating some rare meat just like we like it. Rare. No fork. Just dive in." (Two Chainz TV)Photos from the on-set photo shoot hit the Internet around mid-January.
2 Chainz makes a killing in the video for "Murder," a cut off his mixtape T.R.U. REALigion. The rapper links up with his partner-in-crime Kreayshawn in the eerie visuals. The "Gucci Gucci" hitmaker is draped in all black as she sits in a room with the words "Murder," "Kill," and "Die" scrawled all over it, while 2 Chainz sharpens his weapons in an underground workshop. What could the deadly duo be plotting? (Rap-Up)In late December, Kreay discussed teaming up amongst the likes of Southern acts like 2 Chainz and Three 6 Mafia's Juicy J.
"Working with Juicy J was exciting, he put out the song on his mixtape Blue Dream and Lean and it got a lot of good response. We had so much fun. when we were in the studio doing the song I was like "oh sh*t I just wrote my verse, I don't even remember what I said in the booth" it was crazy. I've been working with a lot of different producers. I did a song with 2 Chainz, a song with Snoop and I've got some crazy special guest features I want to put on the album but I can't speak on it yet." (SF Station Pulse)A couple months ago, the "Gucci Gucci" hitmaker blamed touring for delaying her long-awaited debut LP.
"I'm excited because I haven't even put my album out. I'm hoping when I put it out it will be an even crazier year," she said in an interview. "I toured for three or four months, and then I did hella press. It's only this month that I've been able to get into the studio. ... I have more songs. When I make them, I want to put them out, but I have to put them on the album. It's finally getting to a number of songs where it's going to be enough to make an album. I want to get them out because I want to shut everyone up. ... I know who I am. I don't let that stuff bother me. I know it's going to be cool." (SF Gate)
