Jay-Z & Beyonce's Newborn Daughter Described, "She Is More Precious Than A Diamond"

As fans continue to wait for photos of Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles-Carter's newborn daughter photos, former Destinty's Child singer Kelly Rowland has dished out some details on Blue Ivy Carter.

Taking pride in being Blue's aunt, Rowland said the infant's beauty matches her name.

"She's just more precious than a diamond. She's just so stunning. I'm so happy for my sister and her husband," Rowland said in an interview. "She's beautiful. [laughs] [Will I see the baby every chance I get?] Absolutely. I have to be a good aunt. [laughs] She's an incredible mother. I'm so incredibly proud of her. So proud of her. You know what? She's in mommy-ville and I'm so happy for her and her husband's in daddy-ville and the baby is very beautiful. Beautiful." (E! News)

The couple welcomed their first child earlier this month.

They released an official statement on Monday, writing, "We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012." "Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven," they add in the statement. "She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs. and it was the best experience of both of our lives." Prior to the statement, Jay released a song, "Glory," dedicated to his daughter.

In early November, Rowland spilled the beans on Blue Ivy's sex.

"I'm so happy for my sister and her husband. They're so happy in this moment right now, as they should be. They've made a little bundle of love, I'm so excited for them," she said in an interview. "I have no idea what I'm going to buy Beyonce at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible. She won't be spoilt but she will be very well looked-after. I'll be on hand for babysitting duties and I'm actually very good with messy diapers!" (Winnipeg Free Press)
