Rick Ross Rolls Out West, Hints At New Maybach Music Group Signing

Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross is showing no signs of slowing down after suffering two seizures last fall with plans to roll out a West Coast branch to his growing MMG empire.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, speculation suggests California rapper Nipsey Hussle could be next in line to ink a Maybach deal.
There have been rumors going around the internet about a possible Maybach Music Group signing for Nipsey Hussle since a few weeks. The rumors have now gained strength because of Nipsey re-tweeting this particular MMG tweet "MMG WEST COMING SOON" which hints at the birth of a West division of the MMG imprint. Power moves indeed. As of late, Ross has lost an association with Atlanta rapper Pill but flaunted his Maybach Music Group brand with a gigantic chain pendant.
Rick Ross is known to have a serious jewelry game, but this new piece may send his ice collection over the top. The bawse, who just released his Rich Forever mixtape, took to Twitter and shared a photo of his latest chain, a MMG piece. What makes this chain worth talking about is the fact that the pendant is ridiculously big. Something similar to T-Pain's "Big Ass Chain," Ross will have folks talking about his new jewels for a while. "Chain so big can't pop my collar!" - Rick Ross (VIBE)
Last fall, Southern rapper Diego Cash named Nipsey Hussle SOHH Underrated.
"For me, I know Nipsey personally. I've done been to his house and hung out with him before. I've heard his music and seen his visuals. I've liked everything I heard. I'm someone that tries to keep my eyes focused on the newer artists that are coming out and [co-sign] Nipsey. The older artists have already been out anyway, you know what I mean? That's how I feel about it. Nipsey's out there and represents the West. There's no question about that. Of course you know he's standing for [California]. He represents the West. I feel like that's perfect. He's what's going on on in the West Coast right now." (SOHH Underrated)
As of now, Nipsey is reportedly a free agent in the music industry.
Nipsey Hussle most recently left his label Epic Records following the two-year delay of his debut studio album 'South Central State of Mind.' He ended up signing with an indie imprint dubbed All Money In Records, explaining that he's always maintained an independent spirit. There is no current release date set for the Los Angeles native.
